Somewhere, in a remote corner of the universe, the Dalek ship Ragerfloats, lost, abandoned, ruined, a relic of the Time War. But this is not any Dalek ship. This is the ship of Dalek Jagg, Dalek War-General, famed for his destruction of more than forty worlds...
Dalek Jagg stirred. The last thing the black Dalek remembered was a blinding white light, the horizon of an exploding sun going supernova, a frantic command to activate the travel machines' stasis pods, and then...silence.
Silence for three hundred years.
Dalek Jagg reached out one tentacle to his travel machine's controls. He moved his travel machine, coated in the rust and cobwebs of centuries long gone. Near him, he saw another Dalek, his lieutenant, Dalek Nik. He too, was moving.
"Re-port, Le-u-teniant Nik."
"Affirmative, Da-lek Jagg. We are in the Gu'laar system. "
"Good. Are the oth-ers awakened?"
"Their stasis should wear off soon."
And then, suddenly, the Black Dalek remembered. It was the last days of the Time War. A Time Lord named The Waylander had attacked them. A stray blast had knocked the Rager into the event horizon, and they had been forced to undergo stasis. They had been part of a secret operation to overthrow Gallifrey.
"Flaik, contact the Emperor."
A Dalek in the corner of the room moved to a large screen.
He inserted his plunger into the screen. It whirred for a few minutes, then beeped red.
" Contact...unavailable. Skaro is...gone."
Jagg paused, surprised. The Black Dalek shuddered. He was...afraid.
"This is the work of the Doc-tor!!!! Expand proton field, search for any and all TARDISES!!"
"Yes, sir"
A minute later, four or five blue dots appeared on screen.
"This is the max-i-mum number of TARDISES found within forty billion light-years. Con-clus-ion. The Da-leks and the time Lords wiped each other out. We...are the last of the Daleks."
Dalek Jagg refused to accept it. "Im-poss-ible. Expand, then contract the proton field. Bring the TARDISES here!! The Time Lords must be EX-TER-MI-NATED!!"
"EX-TER-MIN-ATE!!" Came the cry from the newly revived crew.
