So he wasn't going to hear anything about his future? Not even the slightest bit?
That was no fun at all! Jack had sometimes wondered what it would be like if he'd meet someone from his future.
But this wasn't really what he had expected of those fantasies.
He hadn't expected to be working on a vortex manipulator anyway.
This one clearly bound to his own as it kept sending signals.
"Well, it seems we're big buddies in the future.."
He smiled a bit before tapping a few keys to his own device.
Shutting down the homing signal.
"I have good news" he grinned, grabbing the traveling device and getting up from his seat to get closer to the welcome stranger.
"One, It wasn't broken, two" he smiled and handed the watch like machine over to the other "You won't be pulled out of time to see me again"
The machine hadn't exactly broke after sending the man here.
It had just done what it had been ordered to do.
Stop mid travel to appear near the home signal, this did sound like a trick of Jack.
He'd love to have his friends be drawn to him no matter what they tried. Seemed like a good plan for the future.
Which was kind of complex because it was his future self who gave him the idea.
"You should be able to travel again"
