Linking to Character Profile Through Signature

Hi,
Going around the sight I've notice that a lot of people have links to their character profiles in their signatures. I've somewhat managed to do this though it does not read "Nikki Meadows" but instead http://... such and such shows up. I was wondering what [] brackets and words were needed to link you character profile with their name.
