An Unearthly ManThe Last Great Time War is over. Everyone has lost. And now, the last survivor of an extinct civilization has landed right back where it all began. Really, this is the whole reason I wanted to spend a little time playing around with the Ninth Doctor (and for my disclaimer/offer to hand him over if someone else applies). If you're human, feel free to jump in after a while. But please, no Time Lords. Let's leave Nine to his crushing sense of loss and despair for a while, shall we?

Would you mind terribly if Reinette joined this thread at some point?

But of course, once we work out a reasonable excuse. The Ninth Doctor probably hasn't met you.

Probably not, or I'm sure one of them would remember. Working out an excuse shouldn't be too difficult; as things are I know Ten is on leave, so there's already that to deal with. If you've got any clever ideas on the top of your head, I'll accept them. (I've just thought "wouldn't it be funny if she had a vortex manipulator", but where would she have GOTTEN it?)

Well, we have all sorts of time travelers on this board. Perhaps we should just go with something like that.

I'm growing more and more fond of Reinette having a vortex manipulator. I'm leaning on: Reinette has a vortex manipulator because she was separated from the Doctor in the 52nd century and got one from the Time Agency. Now it's Doctor hunting time! I should put that in her bio...
