Cipher had spent the last fifteen hours, thirty eight minutes, thirty-five-six. She shook her head, thirty-nine seconds going over the latest metaphysics book she could get her hands on in the library, curled up in her favorite chair. The library was a large room filled with any and every topic a Time Lord or Lady might need. Though Cipher often wondered how the ship knew what she was needed or wanted at any given moment. She supposed ships were built like that. Though hers seem to only be dressed up like a common landmark, and no one seemed to take notice of a telephone box that said OUT OF ORDER.
Cipher always made sure the box was locked when she was in or out. It wouldn’t do for someone from Cardiff accidently wander into it and find that this wasn’t a telephone booth, but a broken down alien ship. Personally, Cipher didn’t want to end up being an experiment. After all, she had not one but two hearts! That could end very badly for her. As she stood and stretched, she made a run for the closet, trying to dig out something warm to wear.
It took her a while until she found the clothes of her choice. She was rather quite happy with the choice of clothes as she started changing and tossed what she had been wearing in the linen basket. She finished it off with a brown leather jacket and leather boots that made it to her knees. A crossed-paths blouse that could have passed for a dress, and of her skinny jeans; her favorite pair of course. Though if she admitted to it, she had several pairs she was rather fond of!
She made sure she had her key on a chain that dangled around her neck and she smiled. When she made it to the door, a sense of dread filled her. Not once had she been able to walk outside the confines of her ship without feeling the sensations of the planet Earth falling and spinning through space. Cipher shook her head, “No pain no gain Cipher. Time to move on or you’ll always be stuck in the type thirty-nine time travelling ship.” She declared as she walked out of the ship and felt the sensations of time and space hit her. ‘I think I’m going to be sick,’ She thought as dizziness seemed to overtake her.
Cipher stuck her head between her legs. "Wish this planet would just stay still!"
