To say that Seren was confused, as an understatement. That Captain man had ended up dropping her off somewhere safe, and now she was wandering through the streets of London again. She wasn't exactly sure, what she could do. That dog thing was no longer following her, but now she had these weird thoughts plaguing her mind. The voice in her mind was whispering louder and louder, saying things that utterly confused her. Whispering about time and space, and relative placements of objects within. There was other things it whispered, but she wasn't quite sure if it was her conscience or something else.
Her life had taken sudden and unexpected turns lately. She had been guarding her few objects, rather zealously at that. Her parents had sent her more money recently, and had told her that it would be in her best interest to keep traveling. Now she was working on books, about libraries and fights. With men made of metal that had been lost to time. Of people with the capabilities of traveling in time. Using objects that Seren herself didn't completely understand yet. She wasn't quite sure what it was all about, but some small part of her wondered if she was writing stories of something fictional. Some small part of her wondered, if it was real.
The woman tucked her hair behind her ear, looking around her rather confused for a moment. What was going to happen? She had found that her life was starting to take more odd turns, odd enough turns that she was fidgeting with her glasses again. Pushing them up her nose, and shivering a little. She was dressed simply, a pair of slacks and a loose dress shirt, with a jacket thrown over it. Her bag on her shoulder, and her mothers fob watch buttoned into the breast pocket of the shirt she wore. She decided to walk, looking at the sights around her.
It was later evening, the sun was setting. That was when she heard the growling sound again. Waiting in the shadows, it was waiting in them. She hoped the streets stayed crowded enough, that the creature wouldn't come after her. She had no Jack now, to keep her safe. That man had made her get rather warm and tingly inside, as odd as that may have seemed. She had a fiance, didn't she? He's not a very good one, he doesn't even call, doesn't care. The voice whispered softly in her mind.
She looked around, keeping to the well lit parts of the street. But still, in the shadows she could hear the growling. That dog thing was waiting.

(OOC: I can honestly say I love how vague the "Dog thing" is. Unless you had something planned, I work best in these situations)
A traveler popped in London on a rain humid day, which suited him just fine. His Vortex Manipulator had a tendency to take hiccups through time, rarely ending up in the correct time. Today it landed right where he wanted it. It was days like these when he could hunt down the canine colossus that he'd been chasing through time and space. And so, standing on a roof-top, this man would finish his hunt once and for all.
He wasn't usually a hunter. In fact, it was against his nature. And although he always carrier a gun, he next to never had to use it, he figured today was an exception. He began hopping around the buildings a bit, trying to catch a trace of the dog creature. So far, nothing. Maybe he had traveled too far? Probably. It happened a lot.
He was just about to give up when he heard the growling. Horrible, demonic growling. In seconds he had his gun out and was firing a few shots at it. Unfortunately, the thing was fast, and dodged him shots easily. He was going to need a closer opening. The man slid down the wall and off of a dumpster, and fired another bullet, again missing and nearly hitting a confused-looking woman. The dog was running away from him, not in a curve or other sort of pattern, so he had a clear shot, one last bullet...
He couldn't fire, as the said woman was in the way. He just barely caught a glimpse of the monster running down an alley. Other humans probably saw a Maltese or a Yorkshire Terrier, the darned shimmer. He raised an eyebrow at the woman. "Did you see where that went?" he asked.

Seren was focused on the creature, allowing her mind to keep a watch on it. It had been stalking her for awhile, why she wasn't sure. She wasn't sure she wanted to know. Then a tingle went up her back. Move! the voice screamed in her mind. It was then she heard the gunshots, rocketing through the air and going towards the dog. Someone was shooting it, was it a police officer? It darted out of the shadows and raced passed her, into the shadows of an alley. Her head turned as she focused on listening and watching where it had went.
Then her head turned back, her eyes widening as she stared at the man. She carefully pushed back her hair, biting her lip a little. She kept the dog in the corner of her vision, and noticed it swinging a left in the alley. "I know which way it went. That things been hunting me for seems like weeks now. What is it?" She asked as she looked at the man. Turning towards the alley. "It swung a left." She commented as the tingle passed through her again.
He can manipulate time and space. the voice whispered, as she turned and looked towards him. Frowning softly now. Out came her fob watch, as she ran her thumb over the cover of it. What in the world was happening.

She told which way it was, how it had been haunting her, and a question: what was it?
"I often ask myself the same thing. Beastly hellhound if you ask me." Malcolm commented.
He started running, "swinging a left" just as she said. Then she pulled out a fob watch. Malcolm had no idea just what it was, he wouldn't have payed it any notice... Had his Manipulator not beeped. This Manipulator, gifted to him by the granddaughter of the Doctor himself, wasn't even quite sure what it was. A little voice beeped out, however.
-Foriegn technology, origin unknown, suspected uses as follow_- Malcolm cut it off. "May I see your watch, please?" he asked as politely as possible, "I need to know the time."
Blatant lie, only enhanced by the fact that he chose what time it was.

Seren watched him, having followed behind him. She had to know that this thing was going to be gone from her life. She had to know that it would be permanently gone. So follow the man she did, while holding her mothers watch and frowning faintly. She was definitely concerned with the situation at hand. But she was stopped as he spoke, frowning faintly as she clutched the watch in her hands. "It doesn't open." She stated as she looked at the watch. It obviously looked like it was rusted shut around the edge of the seam. It looked like it wouldn't open, no matter how hard you tried.
She sighed softly as she shook her head then, watching the man. Her eyes held a questioning gaze as she stared at him. He reminded her of Jack, that man that had helped her last time. "Why are so many people interested in my watch? I mean seriously, whats so special about a watch? And why is that thing stalking me." She stated as she looked ahead, noticing the creature was crouched down in a shadow about 30 yards in front of them.

"It doesn't open." she claimed.
"I find that interesting." he stated, eyebrow raised. Malcolm's foot was trying to find its way around the corner, wanting to chase the dog. Too bad the rest of him wouldnt let it. He frowned when she shook her head. He turned off and started walking away in persuit of the dog. "Please don't waste my time." it came out harsher than intended.
"Why are so many people interested in my watch? I mean seriously, whats so special about a watch? And why is that thing stalking me."
He raised three fingers, putting one down with each phrase. "I don't know, I'm not sure, and I don't have a clue." he said uselessly.

Seren hung back a little, and then slid her backpack off of her shoulder. Inside was an item that she didn't use often, hell had only used on the practice range. A small .44 handgun, semi-automatic. Her parents had bought it for her, and said to only use it if she needed to. Well this sure as hell seemed like a moment that she needed to. She opened the backpack, and then slid out the gun. Snapping the clip into place, and putting her bag back on her shoulder. Well he had answered all of her questions, and now she would answer one of this.
"I'm not going to waste your time, if anything i'm going to help. For gods only know why, I can sense this thing when it's nearby, I can feel it before I hear or see it. Because of that, you need me. And I'm not going to stand down and be quiet, when something is trying to kill me."S he stated softly. It caused something in her stomach to twist, A pain that made her eyes close for a moment, as she realized she may be taking a life. Not that it mattered, it was a creature that had tried to kill her time and time again.
