"No! No more Gwen!!" She screamed guttural as she stood outside the now hip high tunnel, feet on the root cellar's dirt floor. She screamed because she had double fistfuls of Gwen's jacket at her shoulders and is yanking her backward out the tunnel with all her might.
To keep her from murdering the man while disposing of the monster. "Don't Gwen!"
The woman came sliding out, Sarah Lost her footing and they went down one atop the other in a tumble. the Lupine was only slowed, but slowed he was, and the walls around this grate thicker than the other.
A very steep wooden ladder leads up to the kitchen. The hatch is closed.

Gwen came sliding out of the grate, dropping the squirt gun in the process. Suddenly, she realized what she had been about to do.
"Oh-- oh my god. I'm sorry! I'm so, so sorry! I don't know-- it was just so--" Gwen clapped her hands over her mouth, and looked at the werewolf through the shaft that, sitting on the ground, was head high with her. It was just like the ghost machine. It was just like that sick, sick man falling on the knife.
Gwen got to her feet, trying to regain her composure. She then helped Sarah Jane up as well. She looked around the room for some form of escape, and saw a ladder and locked trapdoor.
"Where do you s'pose that trapdoor leads?"

The Welsh just floored her. Literally, for the moment. Gwen was up and on her feet, having snapped out of her violent fugue state while Sarah Jane listened, almost amused, and trying to drag air into her lungs. Then she did with a gasp as Gwen pulled her up.
>cough< "Up." She said, and did just that, near to flying up the ladder and stopping at it's top reaching high to use the Sonic on the lock hinge screws. These were less rusty. "Don't panic Gwen, you did fine." The third screw dropped. She didn't know what was happening below, but it didn't sound great. She pushed hard at the freed door. Pushed it with all her might. It shifted up a few centimeters and thumped back down.
"Gwen!" She shouted, and came down the ladder mostly by falling, but controlled enough to land on her feet and facing the room unharmed, and ready to grab the Super Soaker should Gwen throw it to her.

Gwen scooped up the super soaker from the ground and tossed it to Sarah, pulling out her own gun in the process. Realizing Sarah Jane might find this in bad taste, she said, "I'm not going to use it. I just figured it might be afraid of guns."
With her gun in one hand, Gwen climbed up the ladder. Once she got to the top, with all her might, she bashed through the trapdoor. It flung open. "Ooh..." Gwen said, shaking her hand and blowing on her scraped knuckles. She continued up into the kitchen above them, her gun still ahead of her. After seeing no obvious signs of hostiles, she called back into the basement.
"Sarah Jane, come on up! It's all clear."

Sarah Jane caught the Super Soaker, pumping it with both arms to sploosh across the grate hole and keep the Lupine discouraged behind it as Gwen scrambled up and forced the heavy trap door open.
Sarah Jane was almost to afraid to turn her back on the enraged Lupine, but Gwen's voice called her up and she went up the ladder one handed anchoring the Super Soaker flat and high against her body. She all but dropped the plastic gun, then got back on her feet and was working to get that trap door shut.
Inside the ancient kitchen, once glorious now haunting, were endless bundles of Mistletoe. Two gallon jugs full of the green gel, and a net. There was a nice big potato bin full of dirt and seedlings.
"Help me drag this over the door!"

"Got it!" Gwen ran over and started helping Sarah Jane drag the containers to the door.
"So, what's your plan then? This werewolf definitely means business." Gwen said, accompanied by the occasional resounding crash from the room below.

"Well, remember how you didn't like my last idea?" She smiles, leaning on the potato bin, feeling safe for the moment. "You'll like this one less."
She walked around to the old counter and opened up one of the big containers. She took out a double handful of the cool green goo, and threw it right at Gwen's belly. She was forced to laugh a little, but followed the action up by doing the same to herself.
She dove in for more and began smearing herself. "First this. Dig in, Gwen. Then," She continued, smearing the stuff on from the neck down. "Then we hike back across the house and get back to my data. It will give me the right frequency combination to use with this, and with one last trick I have up my sleeve, to separate the Man from the Monster. There is a man in there. I don't want to die, Gwen, but I don't want to kill him or maim him if we can help it. Alright?" she slopped some on Gwen's back where she could not reach.
If it had been the Doctor, he wouldn't have needed data on a print out. His ears and hands would have been enough. But the Doctor wasn't here.

Gwen took her ring off and placed it in her jacket pocket, and zipped it back closed. She didn't want it to fall off because of the goop. The gel was slimy and felt terrible, but after all, it was mistletoe so it didn't smell awful.
"You're right, I really don't like this." Then, Gwen thought back to that one time she was pregnant with a terrible alien baby. "Although, I've been through worse."
Gwen ventured over to the kitchen door, and grabbing the handle, held it open. With a flourish of her hand and in her best posh accent she could come up with, Gwen said, "After you, Madame Smith."

When all was prepared, her Super Soaker heavy and held correctly across her chest, they headed out. She was really beginning to like this Gwen Cooper, trooper she was.
"Gee, thanks, Gwen. Easy on the bullets, okay?" And she slunk out, turning on the way out the door to check her corners. They were on the bottom floor where it was rough and unfinished. Yellowed light came through high windows that were even with the overgrown weeds outside. Sarah moved soundlessly down the long corridor, wanting to make distance while their footsteps were muffled by the earth right under the floorboards.
The goo made her cold, but this was made up for by observing Gwen Cooper in similar and pathetic state.

Gwen followed Sarah Jane out of the kitchen. She could tell by the fact that Sarah Jane was attempting to be stealthy that she shouldn't try to strike up conversation at this particular instance.
She continued on behind Sarah Jane for a while, before there was a sudden snap. The floorboard beneath Gwen had cleaved in two! It seemed it had a tiny sinkhole right below it, as opposed to the other parts of the floor with solid ground. From the staircase to the cellar though, she could hear snarling and barking.
"Run!"

They'd gotten all the way across the floor plan in her mind before they had to run, she hoped it was enough. She took a moment to turn and fling the Super Soaker to Gwen, though she hoped the woman wouldn't have to use it. Then she pelted up the stairs as fast as she could go, no attempt at silence now, she was running for their lives, and assumed Gwen could keep up no matter what, stripling creature that she was that she was. Sarah got half way up to the second landing, facing back toward the door, and looked at Gwen to see if she was alright, never missing a step.

Gwen easily caught the super soaker in both hands, and ran up the stairs after Sarah Jane, like some kind of war hero. Suddenly, she felt the stairs go out from under her.
"Sarah!" she screamed, falling. Suddenly, she stopped. The wolf had grabbed Gwen by her leg, keeping her from hitting the ground about half a foot before she would have. Slowly, Gwen was raised into the air until she was face to face with the wolf, and the wolf's arm was high above it.
"Yeah? Remember me?" Gwen whipped the super soaker right to the face of the werewolf, and shot off a good spray into its face. It howled and threw Gwen across the way, where she landed a few feet from Sarah Jane on the still intact part of the stairs.
"Oh! I think, I think I broke my arm." Gwen gingerly stood up, feeling her shoulder. She was sure it was dislocated from hitting the wall. She still held the super soaker in her good hand, though.
She walked over to where Sarah Jane was, looking back at the temporarily blinded and smelling disable werewolf.
"We should go while it's incapicated."

Surely, there was something brilliant to do right now as she watched Gwen Cooper dangled by her leg and head over heels by the canine monstrosity that hunted them. Apparently, all she could do was fall down and scream. However, it brought her close to the Super Soaker as it hit the stair, and she lunged and grabbed it before it could go over the edge.
When Gwen hit the ground, she had a perfectly horrific point of view, actually seeing the impact at eye level. She was up and scrambling back, wanting to cover Gwen as she somehow got herself back to her feet. Sarah Jane would have thought she'd be dead.
The recorder in her mind played the last ten seconds over, twice, at zip speed. Gwen had gone flat out Rambo there for a moment. And here she was standing. "Yeah, your arm is broke." Sarah had seen that for sure at close range.
"We should go while it's incapacitated.", Gwen said, clear as a bell as if that horrible thing had not just happened to her, or as if even now her arm were not broken.
"Who are you?!", she asked, flabbergasted, even as she turned to go up the stairs, looking over her shoulder to see if Gwen needed a shoulder or something.
One of the worst bits was that it was a pump action Super Soaker. Two handed.
The lupine continued to writhe and complain, as of yet unable to get to it's feet as it steamed on the landing.

Sarah Jane looked at Gwen as she got up from the impact. Sarah Jane said, "Who are you?" Gwen looked at Sarah Jane, and said simply one thing. "Torchwood."
The werewolf was still writhing around below them, but Gwen could tell the mistletoe would wear off soon. "I'm sure there's another way off this floor, and we can get back to your research and stop the werewolf. Let's go!"
Gwen began running off down the hall, assuming Sarah Jane would follow close behind.

"Torchwood. Hm" she said, more impressed than she wanted to be. It was shocking to see Gwen just get up and start running. She had been near certain a moment ago the pair of them were going to die.
She was already running, wishing she hadn't got so much goo on the palms of her hands. The stuff on her legs was dripping onto her shoes and the stairs felt slick. Up she went though, and running after Gwen, Supergirl.
"Out!" She said when the hit the top floor. "Left door!" "Straight on, just wind to the other side of the building! Go back to where you started!"
She was yelling louder. Gwen was getting further ahead, but Sarah Jane was still making good time. Gwen was nearly out of sight when the plaster wall beside her seemed to explode into powder. It was not the Lupine behind them. This was another. Gwen was, this instant, out of sight in the sudden wreckage.
Sarah was closing the gap in seconds, Super Soaker brandished.
"Gwen! Gwheeeeeeeeeen!"
