The Doctor jerked up, his eyes wide open. "Aghh! Daleks. The Daleks. They won..they won. I let them escape..." He continued muttering for a full minute before he came to, realizing where he was, and that he was no longer in WWII. He glanced around him. He Saw Alec near him, and The Oracle was there too, a strange woman with red hair was next to him.
"Where am I? The TARDIS..the...wait. Where's Amy?"
And then he remembered. Falling out of the doors of his malfunctioning TARDIS. Crashing in a strange TARDIS.
The Doctor blinked.
"I need a fez. Does anyone have a fez? And fish fingers. And possibly some custard?"

He had asked the TARDIS for some appropriate mood music, and she had responded with the Rolling Stones.
Watch it!
Carefully levering up one of the hexagonal flagstones, he tugged out an elephantine cable and began to drag it across the floor, doing a little dance as he went.
"I was born in a cross-fire hurricane," he sang along with Mick - in fact, he had sung (well, played) along with Mick on a studio albumn, "And I howled at my ma in the driving rain, But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas! But it's all right. I'm Jumpin' Jack Flash, It's a Gas! Gas! Gas!"
The cable snaked along the floor, around the prone (and enraged) Angel, and into the ticket booth. The Meddler looked around. "Now, where did you put the input socket?"
I was raised by a toothless, bearded hag, I was schooled with a strap right across my back, But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas! But it's all right, I'm Jumpin' Jack Flash, It's a Gas! Gas! Gas!
With a little searching, he located the input. Fortunately, despite the difference in models (he had no idea what model Alec's was, but it wasn't the same), there were no compatibility problems. Not that he had expected any, mind - the sockets were variform block transfer units - but it was nice not to run into any issues.
I was drowned, I was washed up and left for dead. I fell down to my feet and I saw they bled. I frowned at the crumbs of a crust of bread. Yeah, yeah, yeah I was crowned with a spike right thru my head. But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas! But it's all right, I'm Jumpin' Jack Flash, It's a Gas! Gas! Gas!
He strutted across the floors of the control room, doing his best Mick Jagger impression as he went. "You ready, girl?" he asked his TARDIS. She didn't say no, which he took as a good sign.
He threw a switch. The time rotor roared to life, siphoning power from the hellstorm of virtual particles generated by the black hole he kept at the heart of his ship, and artron energy flowed between the vessels.
"Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas," he sang. "Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas." "Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas." "Jumping Jack Flash, its a gas."

For the moment it was enough to sit, wait, rest, and enjoy the dark. It made it fairly easy to ignore the dry burning of her eyes. It seemed everyone but she and the Meddler had left the control room. Her hair rose as he began to sing. Not that he was a bad singer, but she found him quite bonkers that moment. It would have been quite frightening if she hadn't known the Doctor and the others were a shout away.
Besides, it did no good to look a gift horse in the mouth. She forced herself to ease up on the tight grip she'd taken on the arms of the chair.

Alec shrugged at Sisalaya, who was obviously interested in him. He trudged into the control room. "Hello all, and good bye. If none of you require my assisstance, I have no reason to stay, I assume." he said with a smile.
He leaned against his Tardis, crossing him arms. He glanced at everyone in turn, nodding and winking at each.

"Alec?" She called out, turning to face him if blindly. "Thanks." She gives him a wild smile from ear to ear. "It's nice to not be dead. I'll see you when I see you."

Sisi followed not too much later after Alec. She chuckled softly at seeing Robin prance around, actually singing now. Boy the man must be happy with his new.. ehm.. toy. She almost felt sorry for the Angel, almost.
"Having fun there, dear Uncle? Do be careful of our ear drums, if you please." She said with a wicked smile as she heard the time rotor roar to life.
Walking over to where the other woman was seated, Sarah Jane was her name? She took a seat next to her. She looked the blindfold up and down.. it reminded her of someone.. she shook her head and plastered a smile on her face. "He is quite bonkers, isn't he? But in an endearing way if you ask me, if he isn't trying to irreversibly destroy time or anything like that." She said with a lightness that showed she was.. quite used to Robin's quirks.
She turned to face the woman.
"I can just fix that headache of yours, I'm a healer. It's nothing much." She said with a smile. Even though Sisi was quite overly armed, she was a kind woman.. if not provoked.

"You're Robin Goodfellow's niece?" she chuckled softly, "That sounds interesting." She found herself a bit relieved to have company. She liked the woman's voice.
"Oh, its . . . . ." Her hands move almost unconsciously to smooth the black silk scarf across her glasses, settling the shades earpieces more comfortably. "It's not a headache. I just rigged my eyelids open with some tape, you see." She smiled because it sounded a foolish thing to do, but she supposed it really did make sense. She was almost embarrassed by her radical choice. "So I'm just resting my vision a while. I can't wash the dirt out, the tape might loosen, thanks anyway. What is your name? I'm Sarah Jane."
It never even occurred to her that 'Healer' might mean something different than 'Nurse'.

If Alec noticed Sisilaya approaching, he didn't show it. "To life, miss Smith." he answered.
"Thanks for fixing up my arm, Sisilaya, that energy of yours really works." he commented.
He wasn't sure if (being the Meddler's niece) she was a Galifreyan capable of using regeneration energy in a unique way, or what. But it didn't matter to him all that much.

"To Life, Alec. It's awfully good to hear you talk like that. I don't understand though . .she healed you? It wasn't a Time Lordy thing?"

She chuckled softly at the womans words. "Niece, yes. Sort of. I'm not a Time Lord, but Robin was very close with my mother." She left her father out on purpose. "I've called him uncle Robin since I was a wee child. I can tell you it's never been dull with him around" She said with a grin.
She blinked at the woman.. she had rigged her her eyes open?! She widened her eyes and moved to pull the blindfold off. "Oh woman! Why do you think you blink? The cornea dries up otherwise and you'll go blind! Please take that thing off and pull the tape off before that's too late!" She couldn't believe this woman had actually taped her eyes open, she hoped the damage wasn't already irreparable.

She hesitated for only a few heartbeats. Someone had to do it. Someone would have to watch. Others who had tried had died from not doing good enough a job at anchoring their eyelids back. Sarah had done a bang up job of it. But even as Sisilaya speaks, she knows the woman is right. Her vision is already blurred. She'd have to move to 'plan b' for self preservation.
"I hear you. I hear you, Sisilaya"
Reluctantly, she lets the woman pull the blindfold down and then she reached up and pulled off her day night sight glasses.
She had used athletic tape, knowing it would stay on even if she had sweat. She'd used quite a bit of it, really wedging her eyelids, top and bottom, wide open and folded back painfully, skin tugged painfully and folded on itself, dark eyelashes stuck to the tape at odd angles. Her eyes are a bloodshot, weeping, dried lens ruin. She hides in her hair a little, knowing what a disservice she has done to herself today and almost embarrassed by it.

She quite openly gasped as she pulled the blindfold back and was greeted with bloodshot eyes so far gone it send shivered down her spine. She got up immediately, there was no time to lose.
"Oh trust me, Robin has got all eyes on that Angel. Now keep your eyes shut, we need to move fast if you don't want to go permanently blind!"
She grabbed the woman's hand and guided her none too gently to in infirmary. Time was of the essence here and she more or less dragged Sarah Jane to the infirmary, pushing her back to sit on the sink. She dove down under the sink and yanked the cupboard doors open, rummaging through them impatiently.
"Come on.. come on.. GOTCHA!"
She pulled out two flasks with oval shaped nozzles on them, uncorking them with her teeth. "I'm going to rinse your eyes out, whatever you do keep your eyes open" She said with a finality before she placed both the bottles against Sarah Jane's eyes, one at each, the oval nozzles exactly fitting over her eyes. When she squeezed in the bottles Sarah Jane's eyes were flooded with the solution, running down her cheeks and then her clothes. It didn't matter for now, she'd get new clothes after this was done. She just hoped the bottles could moisten up the cornea again, these bottles were usually used to rinse one's eyes out in case one had gotten acid or some irritant in their eyes.
She had never healed eyes before, she wasn't sure she could.

She wondered if she had indeed ruined her eyes. Her vision was a pale blur, the woman before her an exclamation of washed out reds.
When Sisilaya left, she turned to her task. Getting the tape off. In that instant, she wished the Doctor was beside her for this, knowing he was so close, but she bet he had problems of his own. The Doctor is not a teddy bear, she thought to herself, act your age. And with that she caught an edge of tape under her nail, lifted it, grasped it, and began a steady pull.
One piece, two. Four then five came off. First one eye than the other. Tender skin tore here and there leaving her with bloody tears that left dark rivulets down her cheeks. It was not pleasant. By the time Sisilaya had returned, she'd cleared it all leaving just tiny gray clumps of adhesive here and there and one little bit up on her eyebrow she'd missed in all the fun. Sarah kept her eyes peeled open with her fingers, no matter how she wished to shut them. Too much dirt was in there, it would only grind her eyes up.
The Healer woman returned and told her what she was going to do and what Sarah Jane was to do. It would only be an act of will and that she had in droves. It took just about every ounce of it she had to not flinch away as Sisilaya came in with the eye cups. The cool solution was quite a shock, but she would not cry out. Not with Robin in the room. Instead, she clutched at the arms of the chair. Doctor - ! her mind shouted, but she was wont to do so in moments such as these whether he was a room away or unfathomable light years.
It was Alec that she reached for silently as she forced herself to submit.

The Timelord was particularly astounded when Sarah reached out towards him. Nevertheless, he placed her hand and his, and smiled. "You're going to be fine. She fixed my arm well, I'm sure she'll be able to heal your eyes." he said in his attempt at comforting.
He dearly hoped what he was saying was true. He had combatted against Sarah many times, and blindness would fit his purpose nicely. Even with that, all he wanted was for Sarah's eyes to be healed.
It was a strange feeling.

As soon as all the dirt was flushed out the solution from the bottles flushing her eyes started giving relief, the solution was made of the same composition materials as tears, save the uncomfortable feeling of running over the cornea. Still, it must be a major relief for Sarah Jane's eyes to finally be moist again.
By the time the bottles were empty Sarah Jane's clothing were as good as soaked. Carefully she took the nozzles away from her eyes and looked at each of her two eyes individually. At least they were clean now and Sarah Jane could blink again, but they still looked murderously bloodshot, like someone had tried to choke her to death. She placed her hand on her shoulder carefully.
"I know it probably still burns.. but can you see?"
She was going to try and heal her regardless, just the colour of the woman's eyes made her cringe, she didn't even want to know how much it had to burn. Problem was that healing Alec and specially that other Time Lord called 'The Doctor' (Honestly who called themselves the doctor?) had drained her of most of her energy, she knew if she would heal Sarah Jane now too she would run so low that she'd likely pass out. She looked up at Alec for a moment, perhaps that man could make himself of use instead of the flirting and she could tap from some of his energy.
