Time Lords do not lose track of time, simply because they've been rendered unconscious. So the Meddler knew it had been only a few short minutes since he'd passed out.
"Come on Robin.. wake up.." was the first thing he heard. Sisi.
The pain, although still there, was beginning to subside. It took a couple of tries, but he managed to speak. "I'm... I'm all right," he croaked out. "How are the others?"
He tried to stand up, and collapsed before he got started. In the background, he could hear Sarah talking. "...changes things between us. You saved that girl. Good work. I'll see you all later."
"What?" he croaked out. Lifting his head, he was just in time to watch her slip between the closing doors of the TARDIS - with the young woman he'd pulled out of the tracks calling “You can’t keep them back by yourself!” and then collapsing near the door.
"Damnit, Sarah," he snarled through gritted teeth as he forced himself to roll onto one side. "This is supposed to be a rescue..."
The effort was almost too much, even with Sisi's healing energies flowing through him. "Stupid old man," he muttered. "Stupid, useless old man..."
And then a thought struck him. "Alec? Did... did you say something about UNIT being fool enough to use atomics against the Angels?"

Sisi pulled the Meddler down none too gently as he tried to get up. She huffed softly and placed one of her hands over his forehead, the other on his chest. "You're no use to anyone like this, Robin." She whispered softly, but firmly
Without warning the full power of her healing was slammed into him like something heavy coming down on his chest, her hands glowing bright almost like beams of golden shining light, it's light filling the TARDIS in a way that would seem eerily familiar to a Time Lord. The air around them grew stale immediately, like it would be high up in the mountains. She was not only using energy from inside of herself, but also drawing it from the room around her, healing the Meddler in a rapid pace as it was setting and healing bones and surrounding tissue in a fast pace. She gave it an extra push, the way the brown haired woman named Sarah Jane had run from the room indicated enough that Robin did not have time to sleep the rest of injury off to replenish his energy.
The light from her hands stopped just as suddenly and she released his head and chest, pushing him up gently. "Better.. now?" She asked quietly. She looked considerably paler, she had used quite a bit of energy in that one, but not so much to leave her useless.
She looked at the other man with his arm in a painful angle. She waved him over. Limbs did not take that much energy as whole bodies did.
"What the hell is going on" She asked to the remaining persons in the TARDIS.

Alec lifted a hand to stop Sarah Jane, but didn't find the strength. "Some rescue this turned out to be." he muttered.
His arm snapped back into place with an added yell on his part. But the pain was only momentary, and it subsided and felt great. Alec's arm felt better than ever, enough to... "Sarah." he said, rushing out the door.
He re-taped his eyes, putting his hands to his mouth. "Can you hear me? Unit is going to bomb this place! We have to get out before-"
BOOM!
Part of the ceiling caved in, blocking him from his own Tardis. "No!" he shouted.
His eyes hadn't had much rest, but he could see the angels crystal clear. The monsters were demonically angelic, if it was possible. "Listen red, I ain't leaving without you. But UNIT is destroying this place in...minutes. We can't let that happen. We both know that can't destroy these monsters. We have to leave...now!"

Bombs had never sounded so good. In a perfect world, she couldn't have imagined this. She assumed that the strange TARDIS would leave without her, she'd hold the Angels for the 5 or 7 minutes it would take the jets to scramble, and then the Angels would be gone. And so would she, though she had not thought of it that way. Someone had to hold them for those few minutes or more, and she had been the logical choice.
She'd heard the whistle first. She knew it well. Needing no elapsed time to think about it she was up and pelting for the TARDIS. It was a moot point now if the Angels got her. Three steps, and thats when it all came down with and explosion so loud she couldn't really hear it, only feel it in her skin.
She could hear Alec calling to her.
"I'm here! I'm here! Aaaallec!"

Oracle pushed herself to standing again, reaching over and grabbing the handle to the Tardis’s door, turning it letting the door open. Hoping she didn’t open it to fast incase someone would fall. She stood there holding onto the door for a second.

There was a blur to her right, something gray and huminoid. The Angels were truly beautiful until the struck. Here was one now, come to take her. Instead of slashing and bleeding and dying though, she found Alec's arms around her and suddenly they are bursting into his TARDIS "Alec! Get us out of here!"
She was feeling quite fond of him just then.
"That was some great timing." She said softly, almost to herself, a soft laugh bubbling up in her. Not dead yet, though that had been a close one.

"I'm here! I'm here! Aaaallec!" he saw Sarah banging on the Tardis door.
His heart beat faster than ever as he back-tracked to his Tardis and backed up against it, next to Sarah. "Door's open, we can get in." he said.
He opened the door to let himself in after Sarah, all the while looking at the Angels. He smiled, without looking to his evident new friend. "Oh and Sarah," he said, "Good to see you again."
His gaze dropped from the angels and he ran inside, leaning against the wall. "Whew, that was close."

The Meddler sat up, rather amazed. To be honest, he wasn't sure how well Sisi's healing powers would work on him, given what exactly had happened. But they seemed to work on psychic injuries as well as physical.
An interesting point, that. Something to investigate, later.
"What the hell is going on" his niece asked.
And then Alec was racing out the door. "Can you hear me?" the other Time Lord shouted. "Unit is going to bomb this place! We have to get out before-" His words were cut off by a clap of thunder and a crash of collapsing concrete and earth.
The Meddler lept to his feet.
"In order," he said to Sisi. "Out there is a dozen or so of the Weeping Angels. Vile, predatory creatures that feed on the energy generated by a sentient mind passed through a negative space-time curvature. Or on the electrochemical discharge created by a sentient mind when it dies. Either one."
He examined the controls. "They're also a living, macroscale sum over all histories wave, that collapses - when measured optically - into a statue."
Dials were spun and switches were thrown. "Alec is a fellow Time Lord - one I've met before and that has just met me for the first time about half an hour ago. He's a bit abrasive, but not a bad man. Sarah is a human woman that gets involved in things. She meddles." He grinned at that. "She's also going to get herself killed if we don't do something right now."
The main viewscreen came to life, showing collapsed rubble around the TARDIS. "The young lady on the floor by the door? I pulled her out of the tracks a few minutes ago, and I'm afraid we haven't had time to be properly introduced. We'll rectify that, once we've saved Alec and Sarah from an impending atomic strike."
Through the viewscreen, it was clear that something was happening. At first, it was hard to tell exactly what. And then, the wreckage and debris began to shift, falling upwards like a movie played at 1:1 speed in reverse.
The Meddler threw a final lever, and crossed to the door. "Sarah? Alec? I've temporarily reversed local entropy. Feel free to join us in my TARDIS - or Alec's - and we can discuss what we can do to save UNIT from the foolish decision to initiate an atomic strike on the Angels."
And then he looked down at Oracle. "Oh, and I have entirely forgotten my manners. I am the Meddler, and welcome to my TARDIS. May I ask your name, and whether you are in need of medical assistance? You appear to have been through a severe ordeal."

Sisi got up behind her uncle immediately. It did not take long to know this was serious when the word "bomb" fell. She did not completely understand what those Weeping Angels were, again too many fancy words for her to gather in one go, but she got the basics down. Bad creatures to stay away from. She was glad she was wearing her full gear of guns and daggers now, her hands were almost itching at her guns. She couldn't help but chuckle back at the Meddlers words about Sarah.
"Humans meddle, it's in their nature. Specially women."
She took one of her guns out and loaded it with an audible click. She checked her pockets for extra rounds, she had at least four. Good.
"Weeping Angels you say? What do they look like -statue you said? How do you take them down and are they immune to bullets? Anything that I have to be careful with while I face them?" That was all she really needed to know. In battle, she did not really care what her opponent was, as long as she knew how to take it down.. and how it would stay down.
She looked at the other redhead still on the floor. She didn't know if she should heal her or save her energy to fight these opponents. From what she saw, she was the only one here with actual weapons.

Oracle looked at the Meddler when he asked her if she needed medical assistance and shook her head “My name’s Oracle and no I’m good, correction will be good it just takes a couple of minutes”.
She looked down a second listening to ever one and smirked saying softly “Yes humans do meddle.” she felt the electricity spark through her body as it recharged it’s self fully.
Reaching up and rubbing the bridge of her nose as the voices she had put up with for the majority of her life started screaming in her head she popped her neck and asked “will those bombs take care of the Angels or will something else have to be done?”

"Alec, that was amazing what you just did. Thank you." And she'd thank him again when she could see him face to face without the glasses.
Even covered in dust and splashes of dust, Alec really was still a lovely looking fellow, long and lean and finely sculptured. Right now, though, he was a portrait of pain.
"Alec. I'm so sorry." She crosses to him, wanting to reach out, but is afraid to touch him anywhere, not knowing the extent of his damage. Her hands do reach, in frustration, then drop.
"Are we clear? If we're clear, you can officially collaps now," She grins. "Dark Lord."

"Alec. I'm so sorry." Sarah said.
Alec shrugged, and remembered back to the last time she had been in his Tardis... But then again he really didn't want to. He flipped a few switch, twisted knobs, and threw levers before the Tardis began to transport them away from the Angels...and the bombs. "Just a few...hundred scratches. Nothing a little regeneration energy can't handle. Plus a women in the Meddler's Tardis kinda healed it..." he lifted it up to show, when it bended ever so slightly in the wrong direction, "Well, she fixed it mostly."
"Are we clear? If we're clear, you can officially collaps now," She grinned, "Dark Lord."
He grinned back, maybe not so sincerely, but a grin nonetheless. "It's my job not to. On Galifrey, collapsing usually means... Nevermind." he said simply.

The Meddler watched Alec and Sarah disappear into Alec's TARDIS. Once the door was shut, he slammed his own closed as well.
"My name’s Oracle," said the woman by the door, "and no I’m good, correction will be good it just takes a couple of minutes”
"It is a pleasure," he said, sketching a shallow bow to Oracle. "If you do find yourself in need of anything, simply ask. And if you will forgive my shortness, there are still matters to be dealt with."
He strode back to the controls, hearing Sisi remark "Humans meddle, it's in their nature. Specially women" at almost the same moment that Oracle observed “Yes humans do meddle." The comments brought a smile to his lips.
"They do, indeed. But - and maybe this is just my bias here - sometimes they should leave it to the professionals." Hands flicked over the controls, setting the communications systems to the bands Alec's TARDIS used last time.
"Weeping Angels you say?" Sisi asked, checking her gun. "What do they look like -statue you said? How do you take them down and are they immune to bullets? Anything that I have to be careful with while I face them?"
"In order: Yes. Like statues of winged humanoids when their waveform collapses, usually with their hands hiding their faces. You 'take them down' by disrupting the strong nuclear forces that hold them together, and they are extremely immune to bullets. If you look at them, they can't move, but they can either hurl you backwards through time or kill you if you can't see them."
He looked up. "There's more, obviously, but we can cover that later. They can't get in."
“Will those bombs take care of the Angels or will something else have to be done?” asked Oracle.
"That depends on the type of bomb they're using. You'd need between 80 and 160 petajoules of energy to do it. That's between a 20 and a 40 megaton nuclear explosion." He grimaced. "Of course, getting them all with a single blast is, well, tricky. You have to be observing them right until the blast detonates to catch them all, and then they still have to be fairly close together. Say within a 30 meter radius."
The correct channel came up. "Alec? It's the Meddler. Did you say UNIT was actually planning on deploying atomics? Do they know how big the explosion needs to be?"

Sisi looked at the other redhead as well, her face concerned. She looked Oracle up and down for injuries for as much as she could see them standing next to the control panel of the TARDIS. Her hand was loosely holding one of her guns, aimed at the floor.
"If there is anything you need, just tell me okay? I'm a professional healer" She said before she turned back to the Meddler again. Her eyes widened in surprise to his explanation of the Weeping Angels.
"Statues that are immune to bullets? How is that possible? Wait.. don't answer that.." She knew she wasn't going to understand what he said. These creatures probably looked like they were made of stone, but were in fact, not. She tilted her armed hand up and looked at her gun, sighing softly before she turned back to Robin. "I'm going to have to get these upgraded soon, am I right? I was never able to acquire a plasma gun in my time.. we had to scavenge for weapons. I guess the effectiveness of ordinary bullets have gone past."
She listened as the Meddler talked over the intercom to the other Time Lord.. Alec was his name? She sure hoped he was all right with that arm. She hadn't had the time to heal him properly. Her jaw stiffened at the mention of atomic bombs, bad memories coming back to her as her eyes dazed off. They had been used against the rebellion, the rebellion where she had been part of. If people survived the initial blast the worst was usually still to come.. the radiation damage was the most horrifying. She had seen women miscarry in late pregnancies to infants that couldn't even even be described anything close to humanoid, the sight had been horrific when she had tended to the aftermath. Her green eyes connected to that of the Meddler's.
"Make sure there are no other beings close to that blast when it goes off.. I've seen radiation damage and you'd wish that to no one."
