Time....
....slowed....
........d..oooo..wwww..nnnn..
The Meddler felt himself begin to bounce, just a little, from the impact with the concrete. He could almost see the shockwaves, which would be reaching his ears in a mere trifle (one three thousand three hundred and seventy-eighth of a second, in this atmospheric density, he knew), translating into the sound of the impact.
And for a single, terrifying instant, he could see nothing. But he could feel the presence - a bow wave of probable locations, a sum over all histories that embodied the quantum calculation that solved for the location and velocity of a Weeping Angel. It darted in from a dozen different probable directions simultaneously, stabbing for his probability lines.
There was a wrench, and a burst of terrible psychic pain, and the Angel tore away one of the fragmentary maybe-Meddlers that fuzzed and distorted his personal noosphere into incomprehensible static.
The Angel shrieked in frustrated fury, and suddenly locked into immobility. Almost blind and crippled with pain, the Meddler had forced his eyes open, had precisely measured the predator's location. It crouched mere feet from his TARDIS, its head looking back over its shoulder with a frozen look of hate and hunger twisting its features.
"sarah?" he said, his voice shaking with pain and effort. "you... you'll have to get her. I can barely stand."
His vision blurred, and the Angel seemed to move, ever so slightly.
"Hurry," he whispered.

Alec stood up in the room, tapping his foot. He had heard Sarah Jane, which gave him nightmares in the day time. When she had asked for backup, he had let the Meddler take this one. But he heard the Meddler, who obviously needed help, he couldnt resist. If this guy died his future was jacked up, evidently.
Then next thing he next he was jumping out of his Tardis, eyes taped-open from the tape the Meddler had given him. He heard him yell something like, "Get her, I can't see!" he ignored this. It probably wasn't directed towards him. He grabbed the Meddler by the arm, opened the door to the Tardis, threw him in, and closed it, all the while staring in the opposite direction for Angels.
His eyes scanned the area around the angels for this 'her' who he hoped was Sarah Jane, but found nothing.

Oracle bounced across the concrete floor, sliding to a stop near a light in the wall causing her body to instinctively absorbing the power left over in the light fixture. She slowly started to open her eyes, her vision going in and out of focus for a second before focusing and taking in what was happening in front of her.
It was enough to bring her around. She forced her eyes open so she could see all the Angels and pushed herself wobbly to her feet. She thought the woman with her eyes opened look in a lot of pain Oracle figured her eyes had been opened for some time “I see them. her voice gaining in volume and a strength some "Go on get out of here. I'll follow.”

"@#$%%!!!" She swore. There wasn't anything she could do but watch. That is what her job was. That is what the tape was for.

Alec heard Sarah curse, and despite knowing she was there he was a bit shocked. His left eye slipped from out of the tape and gazed on the women on the floor, who he realized the Meddler had dropped. All in seconds and he had no time to look back. One angel must've somehow escaped his and Sarah's line of vision, and the next thing he knew he heard a crack and blood spilled from his left arm. Yet somehow his eyes stayed locked on all the angels, one of which was inches from tearing him apart, holding his arm bent in the wrong direction.
Alec felt a scream rising up from his throat, but held it down. His eyes twitched a his other arm's hand clenched and unclenched rapidly. Throughout this, he was able to get out one word. "...help..." even as he said it the yell escaped him, all of his arm in pain.

Oracle slumped against the wall the only thing she could do at the moment she coughed, a slight a curl of black smoke coming out of her mouth “ugh...what?’
She suddenly couldn’t remember what she was doing she reached up and rubbed her eyes then opened her eyes back up to see Angel feet from her face she let out a small squeak as the whole situation came into clear focus
“oh hell to the no!” she moved out of the Angel slowly making sure not to take her eyes off of it keeping a hold onto the wall cause it was the only thing holding her up “Anybody got any ideas? Cause I’m all out!”

Everything was going wrong.
His head felt like it was coming apart, and he was in so much pain he just wanted to curl up and die. The woman he'd pulled out of the tracks was staring at an Angel. Sarah was swearing softly - something that surprised him from their brief acquaintance - trying to keep the others in sight.
And now Alec was here, trying to rescue him, and nearly getting himself killed in the process.
"I'm not a hero," he whispered to himself. "Heroes don't come back."
Gritting his teeth, knowing how much this would cost him in a few minutes, he acted. With a sudden motion, as if he were miming drawing a sword, he rose and stepped forward. There was nothing in his hand, but in the full blaze of the floodlights his shadow seemed to wield a rapier. Two rapid motions, and the arms and head of the Angel grappling Alec crashed to the floor.
He swayed for a second, vision blurring, forcing himself to stand. "Run!" he screamed with all his fading strength. "My TARDIS! Now!"
His fingernails dug into his palms. Reddish-orange blood dripped between his fingers as he used the pain to force himself to focus. "I can see them all! Hurry!"
"Survivors return home. Heroes never come home." He snarled to himself. "If anyone thinks I'm a hero, I'm not."

Alec felt his consciousness slipping away, when the angel was knocked out of existence by none other than the Meddler himself. Alec could just barely hear him telling them all to get to his Tardis. This was sink or swim, and Alec had no intention of swimming. Even as his left arm fell limp, painful, and useless at his side, he managed to rescue the woman (he could just leave her to die). All the while he kept his eyes on as many angels as possible, knowing that Sarah and the redhead would make up for what he could see.
The Timelord struggled into the Meddler's Tardis, placing the woman inside and motioning to Oracle and Sarah. "We don't have much time. UNIT is going to nuke the building once we're gone!" he yelled to anyone in ear-shot.
Oh, why did the Doctor like so much being late? Or correctly, why did he enjoy not being there when they needed him the most, but there in his stupid fez when he wanted to drive them insane? Downright sadistic if you asked Alec.

Oracle pushed herself off the wall still wobbly on her feet and weak but she was determined now and that made her stronger, as it would any person. She saw The Meddler pull off some neat light trick something that she could only pull off in her dreams, killing an angel and all.
The woman with the weird sunglasses on, wasn’t it a little dark for shades down here Oracle took a deep breath closing one eye, opening it and then repeating the process with the other, just so she didn’t blink and give any angels a leeway. She pulled from what little power she had gained from the light fixture, it wasn’t enough to pull of any light show but it was enough so she could move.
In a blur she moved over behind the woman with the sunglasses, putting her hand on the back of the woman’s neck “Got you just backup I’ll steer you ok.” she repeated the blinking of one eye at a time thing.

"Aaaalec!!!" She screamed, recognizing him from when he teleported her small Brownstone to the moon in 1977. He had not changed at all, other than being horribly contorted in the Angel's grip. No matter how badly she wished to go to him, she was almost as frozen in her spot as the observed Angels were in theirs. If she moved in any direction but straight back, she'd loose track of one of the two she still had under surveillance.
Then the redhead who had saved the Trolley came to her rescue now. The woman smelled of burnt clothing and high ions. They made haste, Sarah deciding complete trust in this moment might save Alec's life. After all, he had come to save hers. Sarah Jane ran backward, guided by the redhead's grip.
She braced her hands on the TARDIS doorway when they got there, still able to see the last man, though she could not focus on him, still trying to see everything at once.
"Come on! Come ON!" She yelled at him.

The others had made it in.
Slowly, agonizingly, the Meddler concentrated on putting one foot in front of the other. He'd never hurt so much, not in all his lives, not even when the Toclafane...
No, no. Stop that. Left. Right.
Left.
Right.
Dimly now, he could see that he had made it inside. He pushed further, made it to the console. Fumbling at the controls, he closed the doors.
"Welcome... aboard..." he gasped out. And then the flagstone floor rose up to meet him.

[[Mind if I join in here?]]
She had been busy in the infirmary of the Meddler's TARDIS, as a healer she couldn't help but feel it was important with what she was, that she knew from the bottom up what the infirmary did and how she could use it in case of an emergency. She had gotten acquainted with the TARDIS for a while now, it was amazing to know there was a constant living being surrounded around her. It felt.. safe?
Her hearing sharpened suddenly as she heard commotion from the entrance and she dropped what she was doing and made her way to what the commotion was about. Had Robin brought guests again?
Yet when she got there her green eyes widened at the sight that was greeted to her, her uncle splayed out on the floor of the TARDIS, seemingly unconscious.
"ROBIN!" She exclaimed and immediately rushed to his side, her boots hard on the flagstone floor, skidding to a halt on her knees next to him. She lifted his head, opening his eyes checking for pupil reflexes. There was, at least his brain hadn't gone into shut down.
It was then that she finally noticed the others around them, a middle aged woman with long brown hair, another male and a red haired female that was a few years younger then her. They were also in quite a state, the man's arm was in a position that almost made her flinch. Against the TARDIS wall was another red haired woman who was clearly unconscious as well.
"What.. what in the world happened to all of you?" She whispered. She shook her head quickly, her eyes hardening. "TARDIS, guide these people to the infirmary, I'll be with you all in a second. One of you, bring that girl there, I cannot carry two." She motioned with her head at the unconscious redhead.
Taking the Meddler by the shoulders she pulled him up slightly, shaking him. Her eyebrows furrowed and she gritted her teeth, striking the Meddler across his face now to try and wake him. He had to get out of his unconscious state as soon as possible or it could have lasting effects. or at least.. that's how it worked with humans. She didn't know about Time Lords.
"Come on Robin.. wake up.." She hissed.
Her hands holding him started glowing gold, golden mist coming off them.

Alec was spread on the floor, discovering new, interesting things in the Tardis's ceiling as out of the corner of his golden eyes a ginger woman ran in to help the Meddler, calling him by Robin or something. The Timelord turned his head to look at her, just as she was using some healing technique on Meddler. He dearly wished she would help him with his arm, but he also knew that there were others who needed it more, namely 'Robin" himself. He turned his head back to the ceiling and stood up as best he could. He realized the Angel must've caused some internal damage to his legs, and the running to the Tardis torn them up, because they hurt almost as bad as his arm. He struggled over to the wall, where he slumped down and sat there. Whatever happened, this was going to take a while.
"Hello Sarah Jane." he said without looking.

It had all happened so fast. She had just gone along, wanting so badly to be out of that place. Away from this relentless vision of hell. A hell she had helped create, somehow failing to protect those who had come to save her. She'd been so thankful when Electricity Woman had come and pulled her backward to the unknown TARDIS.
She had not let them shut the doors, not that anyone had tried. Sarah Jane could not leave. Someone must stay. She had hoped for a bevy of of Unit soldiers to come bring their fresh (and hopefully freshly taped) eyes. Instead, she'd been plucked up by a tiny handful of folks who had hoped to get them all out. It just wasn't plausible. Someone must hold the three Angels she could see.
"Alec . . . Alec. . ." She could hear the terrible pain in his voice. "I'm so sorry. I tried so hard to keep my eye on you, you got behind a pillar. . . Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so thankful. This changes things between us. You saved that girl. Good work. I'll see you all later." She said with a wry grin, all this time standing in the doorway of the TARDIS, hands braced on the doorway. Then she was gone, slamming those doors behind her, and running with every erg in her for the East facing wall, with that at her back, she could hold off the Angels indefinitely.

Oracle let go of the woman’s neck when she felt them come over the threshold. Every part of her body ached and screamed at her to sit down or something of that nature. She looked around her mind starting to groggy up again what little energy she had, had was disappearing quickly.
She saw the other red head run in, and over to the guy who told them to get in this what was it a machine or space ship, she wasn’t really sure but when the woman came running it almost seemed like it was in slow motion to her. “ just tell me what I can do to help”
She heard the woman talking to the guy but she wasn’t paying much attention to what they where saying till she heard the doors of the Tardis shut she started to move towards them “You can’t keep them back by yourself!” but her legs gave out before she could get very far she managed to move over putting her back against the wall pulling her legs in trying to concentrate on her body recharging. Most of the time her body would do it naturally but she had burned up a lot of power quickly so it could take some time.
