Imagine me tapping the microphone cautiously. Hello? Is this thing on?

A few of you will notice that I've been missing in action lately. A few of you will also be peeved beyond repair and I apologize for that. I really do. I don't want to strip you guys of your experience here, just because my life isn't going smoothly.

See, I was going to post a ton over the holidays (which just ended), but my entire sleeping schedule switched. On top of that, I just couldn't find my muse for Jack again. It's horrible and smothering. And, so, I've decided to give up the character.

Take a minute to process that. I'm not leaving - you can't make me! - but I am definitely revoking the title of Captain Jack Harkness until I can find more time to embrace his character.

I have to focus on school, see. I've got a lot of work to do, just like the past two terms. I've also started a Doctor Who Club at my school, and it takes a lot of organization and planning. Not so much that I'm swamped, but enough to get me piqued and dedicated. (I've brought episodes to watch, games to play, and I've even arranged some fundraisers for the group!)

I hope that you can all forgive me. Really. I'll surrender Jack shortly - or when Ten sees this post, perhaps. I don't know.

Also, a huge thank you to everyone I've written with as Jack. I've had positive feedback about how I write for him and I've really enjoyed writing with you too. It's just not fair for everyone if I keep taking so long to reply!

Oh, the adoption centre, definitely. There's no doubt in my mind that someone will want to play him after I surrender him. If not, then I'll just adopt him again if I ever get the time or motivation.
