Egypt, 3784. “Why are we here?” “My TARDIS took us here.” “And that's enough reason to walk in blistering temperatures, for over 3 hours, going further and further out into THIS BLASTED DESERT? ”
“Yes.”
The sands were shifting beneath his feet, the same sand which thousands of men had walked before, the sands of Aş Şahrā al Gharbīyah, commonly known as the Western Desert. They hadn't been walking for quite 3 hours, only 2 and a half, I suppose if you rounded it up...
“How much longer are we going to be walking for?” “Until I find it.” “Find WHAT?”
The General stopped. Eiytus stopped too, watching.
The General stamped his foot down, and much to his delight, a dull metallic sound hit his ears.
“That.”
The General bent down, wiping the sand away, revealing the metal hidden underneath. The General wiped his finger on the metal, and licked it.
“Steel, they still use steel these days, well, all the better for us, 'ey?” The General turned his head towards Eiytus, who was looking intently at his shirt, brushing off the grains of sand which had nestled in there, and sighed.
He had picked him up whilst staying on Beruvia, a nice little planet which, in the summer was plagued by it's infamous swamp rats.
That summer though, it was plagued by the equally as infamous Daleks.
The General saw promise in the kid, he said he was no more than 37 years old, which was particularly young for someone to be travelling the universe.
Especially since he was from Bolta, in which the average age to leave for intergalactic travel would be 0. No Boltan left Bolta.
He said he was exiled, and he could see why, he wasn't like the normal Boltans, a barbaric race normally, yes, he had a bit of the Boltan in him, but there was no way he was as bad as them.
He actually reminded The General of himself a little.
“What is that anyway?” Eiytus asked the General, dislodging the last grains of sand from his red shirt.
“It's a hallway,” The General said, reaching into the right hand pocket of his blue camouflage pants, which were actual camouflage pants, from the Second Arcadian war, but that was another story.
“To?” Eiytus asked.
The General pulled out a small cylindrical silver object, about the length of his index finger, and pressed a silver button, revealing a small plasma saw.
It cut the metal like....well, a plasma saw through steel, and the General slipped through the hole he had made, Eiytus followed suit.
“Eiytus, say hello to the World Alien Life Research Facility.”

There had been rumors about this place, bouncing around time thanks to her trusty vortex manipulator she had started to hear about a place called World Alien Life Research Facility.
She didn’t like what she had heard, though she would admit what she had heard where just that rumors but she had heard enough of them to make her take notice after a while.
Paying off a couple of people she managed to find an opening in the system, the person who she had got the information from had been wrong and it almost got her caught, if it hadn’t of been for her speed she probably would have.
Whipping out a screwdriver she started taking out some screws in a air ducts grill, looking around making sure no one was around. Last screw, very softly “Please don’t be really loud.” she jerked the grill off as hard as she could then froze listening intently before scrambling into the duct, turning around and placing the grill back trying to make it look as normal as possible.
Oracle looked down at the read out on her manipulator “Ooook” she followed the read out with her finger for a second before shutting the screen and started crawling, as quietly as she possible could. She had planned to get to some form of staff dressing room and steal a uniform so she could move around the place unhindered at least for a bit.

The General and Eiytus weren't being so sneaky, they walked around, casually, they were on Level 6 of the facility now, and they were about to descend into 7. Then a gun was pointed at their heads.
"Ahh, hello there, i'm the General," The General said, not moving, reversing the normal direction of a handshake to meet the man who's gun was now, really, really, "Ow, back off with the gun, it's hurting my head," The man thought this was fair enough.
Eiytus was a little annoyed, he looked at the General, electricity starting to jump between his fingers, the General gave a harsh shake of his head, he didn't want any trouble.
"You just happen to be going the way I want you to, keep walking," The man said, poking the two guns, one each person, into the General's and Eiytus' heads a little further.
And so they descended further.

The air shaft was starting to get slippery in spots this was the second time she’d almost lost her footing “I would have to choose the path that went...ahhhh!” she lost her footing again falling through the grill of a vent in the ceiling.
Laying on her back she stared at the ceiling for a second “straight down.” she groaned slightly as she set up and looked around. “How did you?” she looked up to see a janitor looking at her with wide eyes. “awe yes hello.” the janitor went for an alarm but Oracle was on him in a flash.
Oracle stepped out of the janitor’s office in his uniform after tying him to a chair. She pulled down the cap to hide her face pulling a mop and bucket in front of her “almost as good as being invisible.” she started to mock, mopping the floor making her way around.
