Alec heard footsteps. “D-Dark Lord?” How did this person know his name? “Are you feeling okay? Do you have a fever?” the same voice asked.
The Timelord turned around and brushed the man's hand off of his shoulder with quite a bit of force. "Who the devil are you?" he snapped harshly.
Out of the corner of his eye he noticed two others, and a near-silent voice in his head named them. Maria... Rio... Blue...
The Dark Lord narrowed his eyes at Blue. "Will someone explain how I got from burning inside a supernova to being with you guys."
He looked around, glaring at everyone individually.

Maria smiled at Riocard, hugging him back, grateful that he traveled with her.
"I love it." He told her assuringly. "Thank you so much for taking me, Maria." Rio smiled at her as he pulled away and ruffled her hair, kissing her forehead in a brotherly fashion.
"It was no trouble, I enjoy having you around." She smiled back at him, blinking as she tried to stay away enough to make it to her room.
"Now. You've had a long day. Go and get some rest, all right?" Rio gently pushed her to the Hallway.
"All right." She laughed quietly and starting to head down to her own bedroom.
A door slammed causing her to jump from the sudden noise. She felt Rio pull her close to him in a protective fashion, as Alec walked past them and to her Tardis console. Maria felt Rio's grip on her loosen, allowing her to move closer toward the Dark Lord.
Blue manage to get to Alec first, trying to see if his master was alright. "D-Dark Lord?" Blue began, trying to pull Alec away from her console. "Are you feeling okay? Do you have a fever?"
"Who the devil are you?" Alec asked, his tone harsh. His eyes narrowed at them. "Will someone explain how I got from burning inside a supernova to being with you guys."
Maria sighed, getting slightly annoyed with the sudden memory relapsed that her friend was having.
"Alec you could wish for that knowledge." Maria began sleepily, hoping Blue was up for that. "It would save some time, and then I can get some sleep. Or I could explain it, though that would take up some time."
The Phantom gave Alec a look of slight irritability, as if daring him to make her explain it all.

Blue winced when his master shoved his hand away. He stared down at the floor sullenly. “Who the devil are you?” he demanded, sounding even angrier than he had previously. If this was how Alec was always going to act, then things were not boding well for them at all. The Djinn stepped back as the Phantom began to tell him that Alec could wish for the memories. He nodded, stepping back quietly.
“I am a Djinn,” he repeated from earlier. “You are my owner. I serve you, and only you. Do you want to wish for your memory?” he asked helpfully.

“I am a Djinn,” he repeated from earlier. “You are my owner. I serve you, and only you. Do you want to wish for your memory?” he asked helpfully.
The Timelord sighed. "Yes." he responded simply.
He felt his memories drifting back, maybe a slight nudge would help. Djinn? Wishes? He sensed a lot of luck in his future.

It was a brief response, but it was better than nothing. Blue nodded and smiled, stepping closer to his master. He was glad that the Dark Lord wasn't pushing the Djinn away again. It hadn't hurt very much physically – it'd been more of a shock, really – but it had thrown Blue off into a bout of self-doubt. He'd heard about species with longer life spans. He'd never been the Djinn of one, but he'd heard stories of stories. Not from other Djinns, but from humans. Fairy tales (that were based on truth) about the cruel Djinn and the kind master. In all reality, of course, the roles were generally reversed. Anyway; anybody with a lifespan very long was bound to have grown bitter. It'd happened to Blue.
His hands buzzed with energy as he stepped behind his master, putting his hands tentatively on the man's head. Blue took a deep breath, trying to unlock as many doors to the man's memory as he could without intruding on his master's privacy. A name – Ellie Barnes – flitted immediately to the forefront, and Blue felt a jab of sympathy for his master. He blocked out the associating memories as best he could, but he was still able to tell that 'Ellie Barnes' was a fresh wound. His fingers massaged the man's head gently, trying to push some calming energy to him. By now, the glowing of energy made Blue an eyesore; a bright white humanoid shape.
Another memory hit Blue on accident – and he really wasn't trying to snoop, but sometimes he got distracted and his mental blockade would waver. This time, it was of fire. Pain. Anger. And... ice cream? He retreated from the man's mind quickly, afraid he was overstepping some unsaid boundaries. Before he let go of the man, he gave out a last burst of energy, easing the man's physical pain and eliminating the exhaustion.
He stepped back, the light emitting from him vanishing immediately. Blue put his hands in his pockets and moved in front of the man, smiling kindly. “Do you remember now?”
