Original
Name: Sinclair Guerchard
Age: 40
Species: Human
Planet of Origin: Earth
Occupation: Detective/Time Cop
Physical Description: Sinclair has a naturally thin build augmented slightly by frequent rigorous physical training. He stands in at about six feet tall, give or take an inch depending on the condition of his shoes and wears short length black hair, with a noticeable widow's peak. His primary vanity involves the goatee he has grown, extending almost solely from the front of his chin and descending down some three or for inches.
His complexion reveals a primarily European heritage. He is light skinned without being pale and sports no noticeable scars. All in all his appearance is unexceptional.
In terms of clothing he favors fashions of the 1900s. Specifically he can often be found wearing a trench coat of the style popular during the first World War beneath that he is often found to wear a brown flannel three piece suit of the style commonly found in the 1950's. Usually this suit is complimented by a purple tie.
The outfit is completed with a homburg hat.
Personality: Sinclair is a generally driven and somewhat high strung man. Although he is somewhat intelligent it is often sheer obstinacy that drives him to the end result of his goals. Once he has set himself on the trail he refuses to give up until he's followed the 'puzzle' to it's conclusion.
As his mode of dress implies he is somewhat enamored of the 'Golden Age of Detectives' even if most of those detectives were fictional.
Because of his obsessive personality he seems to be a man in need of a mission and thus easily finds himself drawn into 'puzzles' that present themselves to him.
History: Sinclair Guerchard is a native of the 51st Century. Evidence seems to indicate that he participated as an intelligence officer in the Transmat wars of this era, although for which particular 'Nation State' is an uncertain question. although he occasionally claims the rank of 2nd Lieutenant for what it's worth. It was during this period that the human race gained its first taste of Time Travel.
Although crude by comparison to the Gallifreyan methods, and dangerous in the early days (as one Magnus Greel would learn the hard way) it was one of the great breakthroughs of any species. Sadly however, any grand development in science will be taken into hand by the criminal element eventually. So was the case for time travel.
This would lead to several competing groups attempting to police the human timeline. Particularly the 'Time Agency' which would be founded and disbanded within the same century. Guerchard however seems to have favorably impressed the heads of his particular nation-state as he was recruited into a similar agency.
His early adventures are poorly documented due to both to data restrictions from his particular agency and lack of funding. Primarily he spends time in the region between 1800 and 2800 AD but has been known to show up in other eras simply because he's covering another agent's 'beat'.
Additional medical information: Sinclair has no known medical ailments, although it is worth pointing out that the more advanced medicine of his native era, in addition to better understanding of nutrition and fitness has allowed him to maintain a higher level of fitness and athleticism than those of a similar size and activity level in centuries prior to his native era.
Equipment: As a 'Time Cop' Sinclair has several objects of unique use.
Of note is a strip of psychic paper, in lieu of counterfeit credentials to allow him to slip into secure locations and continue his investigations as necessary.
A suspicion ray, procured under uncertain circumstances (He claims this to be standard issue for his particular agency, but given it's alien origins there is some doubt to this claim)
.38 Snub Nose revolver picked up... likely from any number of his escapades in the past.
Folenfant, a military android (of surprisingly human likeness and mannerism) refitted to aid Guerchard in his police work. Primarily he contains data on eras and cultures he may be unfamiliar with.
