Species: Alien –Shifter: Humanoid alien able to shapeshift into an animal (realistic and mythical). They still retain certain animalistic characteristics even in humanoid form.

Occupation: Neutral alien, although can turn aggressive.
Physical Description: - Long, waist-length light brown hair normally pulled up into a tight plait to keep it out of the way.
- Ocean green eyes, cat-like pupils, with a thin scar running the length of her right cheekbone. A smattering of freckles lie over her nose. Slightly over long canines on both top and bottom jaw.
- Skinny physique with a narrow face
- Tribal-like tattoos cover her lower back, snaking up along her spine to blanket her shoulders.
- Wears baggy, loose fitting clothes in browns, greens, greys and blacks.
Personality: Shaemanis a fairly outgoing girl, playful and puppyish in her behaviour. However, she can also lapse into melancholy easily She doesn't know the difference between 'family' and 'pack', meaning that she can be overprotective of her friends, or treating people older than her as if they were her parents. She behaves in a slightly canine manner, preferring to sniff rather than see, or tilting her head to one side if she's confused.
History: Born on New Earth along with two brothers and a sister, Shaeman grew up within the extended family. Most Shifters, at least the herd ones, spend their time educating their young themselves, rather than expose them to the 'normal' humans after one branch was almost driven to extinction.
She never really got on with her family, finding the constant presence of her brothers and sisters claustrophobic. At the age of 16, while out exploring an interesting smelling patch of apple grass, she found herself spat out by the rift into a back alley of Cardiff.
