Ellie could not believe that she was even here. She wanted to do so many things right now, she was like a kid in a candy store. However she didn't want to change anything. She didn't want to mess things up so she was going to try and be relaxed. Though it was really hard right now to do that.
"So what should we do first?" asked Ellie, "What can we do?"

Alec crossed his arms, grinning. He hardly remembered his first time travel, but he remembered the wonder. He also remembered a certain pair of knives that might've ended him a few hundred years later. Just going to show how dangerous it was.
"So what should we do first? What can we do?"
"Just about anything. I'm a bit of a danger hunter, but being a tourist is fun too. Watch out for pickpockets though. If you catch one, it's best to turn them in. Oh, and Nostrovites. Nasty shape-shifters." he replied.
He licked his thumb and lifted it into the air. "Summer. That means most themeparks are open."

"Nostrovites. Got it," said Ellie as she looked around a bit more.
She saw that the some buildings were still old and some buildings were brand new and futuristic. She jumped up and down but was trying to be adult. As adult as she could be.
"So have you ever been to a themepark?" asked Ellie.

"So have you ever been to a themepark?"
Alec counted on his fingers, muttering. "Not since Gallifrey. They had rollercoasters that literally took you through time. If you chose Earth you'd see the war in Iraq one minute and find yourself in biblical times the next. I cheated and road one on the day of a history report. I passed of course, but it didn't feel right." he chuckled to himself.

As they continued walking Ellie didn't really know what to talk about so she kept silent until she finally thought of something she should ask.
"So what alien am I?" She asked, "I would like to know in case I start sprouting tentacles or grow pointy ears."
She did look human so maybe she had something unusual but didn't realize it.

OOC: I feel the disposable urge to make something happen.
"So what alien am I? I would like to know in case I start sprouting tentacles or grow pointy ears."
Alec laughed out loud. "I'm afraid to inform you that you'll become a Spock clone and develop pointy ears and super strength." he said sarcastically. He chuckled to himself, but it was cut off midway, interrupted by a choking sound. Upon looking at the Timelord, one would discover a mugger had him in a head lock. Pointed at his left temple was a pistol, locked and loaded.
Instead of appearing afraid, Alec was infuriated. His hand came up and knocked the gun out of the crook's hand, punching him the face with the other. This was a mistake. A deadly mistake. A pistol shot rang out, which could be traced back to another cutthroat, pointing a gun at Alec. One bullet had just fired. Two more came out, hitting him square in the chest. The first had apparent torn through his shoulder.
Looking back to Alec, the Gallifreyan was clutching his chest. By chance, both of his hearts had been struck. He fell to his knees, blood pooling over the tarmac. He turned over on his back, and with blurred vision watched the theives run off.

(OC: Oh wait I haven't grown my second heart yet. How about something happens where I regenerate the first time later.)
Ellie gasped when she saw the thief and fear struck her, she was never good with bravery. When the shots rang out she hoped that the thief missed but he didn't. Alec felled down and Ellie ran towards him, she took first aid in school so she knew she had to put pressure to the wounds.
"Alec, stay with me," said Ellie, she sighed as tears came down her face, she saw a few people coming over, "Call an ambulence."
God she hoped that ambulences still existed or maybe they got rid of them. She didn't know what to do and if he was gone she would be stuck here.

Alec struggled to stay conscious as more and more of his blood drained out. The pain was incredible, but it was the worst he'd ever felt. "Go, run, meet me at the Tardis in ten minutes." he said as quickly as a dying man could. He could almost see the refusal on her face. "Go, if you want me to live, go!" he said, a bit more harshly than intended.
He couldn't let anyone see him regenerate, it wasn't right. His dignity couldn't stand it.

"Are you sure?" She asked.
He yelled at her for her to go to the Tardis so she listened. Ellie sighed and didn't know what to do. She put Alec on the ground, even though she wanted to try and save him and headed back to the Tardis. She wondered if maybe she could try and go back in time and stop the thief. Ellie closed the doors and headed to the console. She pushed all different buttons and pulled different levers but nothing worked. She started cry and sat down, crying into her lap.

OOC: Prime the reading glasses, this is a pretty long post.
Alec watched Ellie disappear down the street, struggling to his feet when he couldn't see her anymore. He swaggered over to a rotten alley, full of dumpsters. It was completely empty of life, which suited his purposes.
The Galifreyan's left heart failed, and he fell against a wall. He had to regenerate, and fast. For some reason, it wasn't kicking in. His eyes flickered, and his vision became blurred. He struggled with consciousness as the pain overtook him.
He knew he wouldn't live the hour unless he regenerative abilities activated. He lay there, a dying man with someone waiting for him.
He thought of the enemies he'd made... Jenny, that daughter of the Doctor's; the Daleks; Nostrivites; Headless Monks; Weeping Angels...
There were too many strings left untied. He couldn't die now. He found strength in those words. But they were more than that. They were a belief. And they jump-started his regeneration.
The Dark Lordstood painstakingly to his feet. "I cannot die now." he said, concreting the statement.
He felt his hands glow, his eyes fill with golf light, and that nasty cut on his neck disappear. He stretched out his arms and regenerated, growing about an inch taller.
He felt stronger than ever. He now had bright blonde hair, which had grown to hang ever so slightly over his ears, and his eyes had turned gold- thankfully just the normal part of the eye where color was.
He checked his watch, just in time to meet Ellie at the Tardis. Alec dashed down the streets until he came to the Tardis. Before entering, he pulled his hat over his eyes. It might come as a shock to Ellie...

Ellie stood up when she heard the door open. She looked and saw... a completely different person than she was expecting. He had blonde hair, different eyes, it was a completely different person and now Alec wasn't here. Ellie stood back and hit the console.
"Um... who are you and what are you doing?" asked Ellie, he probably was that thief, "Listen you already killed my friend and if you're here to kill me than go ahead because I don't have any money."

Alec sighed. Here came another grin revelation. Usually, he would drop off whatever companion he had currently somewhere in random time and space. He reckoned this wouldn't be different. He was The Dark Lord in fact. He needed a new name though. Another regeneration, another title. He could go by his his birth name, Èrïåkœsīn, but that was a mouthful. The Dark Lord was fine, but he would go by...The Legalist. That was nice. "I am Alec Harrison, Ellie. When Timelords are near-death, they regenerate into another face." he answered. He thought it was obvious, he was wearing the same clothes. Could someone be that thick? Ah, new personality. An even greater distaste for what he took for incompetence, even when he was wrong. He was going to drop her off at either Nodhaven, that nutter Sarah Jane's school, or at Torchwood. He heard they specialized in aliens. (OOC: Nodhaven, or Torchwood? )

Ellie walked closer and poked him, "So... you're okay? Did it hurt?"
She sighed in relief and than hugged him. And then moved away and punched his arm. She was anrgy that he didn't explain that so she didn't cry and think she was stuck here with nowhere to go.
"Why didn't you explain that before? I thought you were dead and that the thief killed him... you and I thought I was stuck here," said Ellie. (ooh ooh send me to torchwood. i wanna meet captain jack!)

(Ok!)
Ellie walked closer and poked him, "So... you're okay? Did it hurt?"
Alec backed away coldly. "I'm fine." it was now he realized just what a blessing it was that Ellie couldn't tell what he was doing on the Tardis console. He focused on her exact position, typing in the cordinates for Cardiff.
What was he thinking, traveling with another Galifreyan? Of course something would go wrong! He turned around to face her.
"Why didn't you explain that before?"
"I didn't predict this!" it came out as a snarl.
I thought you were dead and that the thief killed him... you and I thought I was stuck here,"
"Trust me, Ellie, you're not stuck here." he said ambiguously.
He finally layed his finger aside of the teleport trigger. Was she ready?
"Good bye, Ellie."
