Her stomach growled loudly as Ellie stood outside in the cold of Wales. She had a thin layered jacket, a dirty tank top, pants that were too long for her and ripped shoes with no socks. It wasn’t a good month for her when she was thrown out of her warm spot beside the bakers shop by two meth heads. It was where she got heated and it was soft enough with her blankets and pillow. She always knew that to live on the streets it was better to run then fight. Now she was cold and hungry. Her stomach asked her again if it was going to get food with a growl. She slowly slipped inside the back through a large door.
There were loud people in the kitchen and a roast in the oven. Ellie grabbed an apron and put it on her, making herself look like a busboy and headed into the storage room where the food was. There she stuffed her pockets with oranges, apples and cans of beans. The apron was her holder and now all she had to do was get out and run off into the alley. She looked around first for a bag and found a cloth dark green one. Ellie filled the bag and headed back to the exit. She secretly smiled when she got out of the restaurant, bag in hand. She headed down the alley, turned a corner and heard a voice calling her.
“Come back here. Thief!” yelled a waiter.
Ellie sighed and tried to get through the crowd of people. The waiter was coming closer. Ellie pushed past a very fat man and fell onto the road. The food spilled and Ellie slowly got up with a scratched knee. She looked behind her and the waiter was trying to get through the crowd of people. Then she heard a honking. She looked and saw a large truck heading straight towards her. Fear rippled her body and she couldn’t move.

Alec Harrison's Tardis was spinning out of control. Flashing through time vortexes, he hit a lever and finally landed in London, he didn't even know the time.
He jumped out the door, graciously it was a modern-looking trailer, nicely colored and all. Coughing, he banged the side and it stopped smoking. Walking over to the street, he decided to check around the city, incase the vortex had sent him here for some particular reason.
He was just in time to see a woman, dressed in ragged clothes, jumping in the street in front of a truck. Behind him, a waiter was chasing her. Ragged clothes, stealing for food...either a homeless or a runaway.
He ran across the street, wondering why he bothered even in the process. Grabbing her by the shoulder, he pushed her across the road, out of the way of the truck. Barely leaping past it himself, he tumbled to the sidewalk.
Standing back up, he attempted to leave the situation entirely by turning around and walking back towards his Tardis.

Ellie stood up and saw the waiter walking away. She put down the bad and the apron, she walked over to the man. He was very strange but she wanted to thank them. Ellie walked over and followed him to the police box. She patted him on the shoulder and smiled as best as she could.
"T-thank you," Ellie said as she shivered, "Um... I usually don't steal but... times are tough."
She looked at the police box and saw an odd glow to it. She touched it and an image flashed in her mind. She moved away a bit scared and felt like she was trying to remember something. She looked at the man rubbed her arms.
"Again thank you," said Ellie, "I guess I'll just go away now. Back to the cold, hungry... and alone..."

Alec sighed as she followed him. "Your welcome. What time is this? Great depression? No, can't be, she doesn't like that time." he said cryptically.
When he said she, he of course meant the Tardis. His and the Doctor's were the only ones in existence, sadly. But atleast his wasn't a type 40. Those had always confused him. "Um... I usually don't steal but... times are tough."
Alec nodded understandingly. "Yeah, you don't look so good." he said, trying not to sound rude. He grabbed his sonic screwdriver and scanned Ellie, a little purple light hitting her. Flipping it up, it extended with a clicking sound. Alec's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh!" he said quickly.
He opened the door to the Tardis, half jumping in. "You might want to come in here, what I'm about to tell you might come as a shock."

"Your welcome. What time is this? Great depression? No, can't be, she doesn't like that time."
"Her? Do you have a girlfriend that you're looking for? If someone is missing you could go to the police and tell them her description," said Ellie.
However the man didn't seem to hear her as he pointed a... what was that? A screwdriver? Maybe this man was madder than she was. When he looked at the screwdriver he looked very shocked. He opened the police box told her to come inside but she just stepped back.
"Sorry sir but I don't get into police boxes with strange men," said Ellie kindly, "Even if they did save my life."

Alec nodded, stepping back out. He calmed down a bit from the shock. "Would you believe me if I told you that you are different?" he asked.
He was pushing around the bush, not directly asking.

Ellie sort of knew what he meant. Sometimes she would have really good knowledge about things that she nevered learned about. She would know things about history from three hundred or sometimes four hundred years ago.
"Sometimes," said Ellie, "Sometimes when people are talking I blurt out things that I've never learned." She looked at the police box and put her hand on it, "Or sometimes I touch things and I get a flash of a memory but I don't remember where I saw it."

Alec nodded. He wondered she could possibly be Galifreyan. But it was possible. A survivor? Nah, he, the Doctor, the Meddler, and that mech-for-a-mom Jenny were the only ones he knew of. "What if I told you that aliens existed? And you just happened to be one?"

"Aliens? Like green men from space? No way," said Ellie, she looked at herself, "And do I look like an alien. I'm sorry sir but you're mad."
She stepped away and started walking away but then she stopped and walked back to him.
"So wait... what are you then? Are you... an alien?" Ellie asked.

"Aliens? Like green men from space? No way. And do I look like an alien? I'm sorry sir but you're mad."
Alec took the comment in stride. "Green? Not many, just Silurians and Raxacoricofallapatorians. Do I look like an alien? Check my heartbeat." he said, taking a stethoscope out of his jacket.
He held out the stethoscope. "Then check the other side."

Ellie took the stethoscope and put it on. She checked his chest and heard one heartbeat. She checked the other side and heard... another heartbeat. She took off the stethoscope and handed it back to the strange strange man.
"That doesn't prove anything," said Ellie, "It just means you have two hearts. You could be... mutated or have an odd operation."

Alec nodded, taking the stethoscope back. "Ok, ok. If I was human, then how could I do this?" he asked.
Before he let her ask what he could do, he reached forward and grabbed her hand. Memories transfered of him in his first incarnation, on a planet of red grass, and the great dome of Galifrey. Him getting blasted by a Dalek, and regenerating. Traveling in his Tardis, meeting people. Suddenly in great pain, a knife in his chest, then another being stabbed in the other heart, and regenerating. Then fast-forwarding to him as he was now, with four others, including the two from earlier. The skipping until very recentely, meeting the Doctor and his daughter, and two others. A summary of his life in minutes, the connection lasting seconds. "Don't freak out." he said quickly.
He really hoped she wouldn't, it was so much easier when they didn't.

Ellie opened her eyes and swayed a bit. She pointed at him and pointed at the Tardis and then back at him. Words stuck in her throat. When she finally found her voice it was was meek.
"So... does that mean you have to kill me now? Because you told me that you're an alien," said Ellie, "I can keep a secret. And I don't even know your name so I couldn't tell anyone who you are."

Alec chuckled a little bit. "No, I don't have to kill you." he said. He wasn't against killing, per se, but only when necessary.
"However, I would really appreciate it if you stepped inside the Tardis. At the very least I can give you new shoes. At the most I can figure out whether you are am alien, or that my screwdriver needs a more phosphorus."

Ellie stepped inside the Tardis and gasped at how big it was. She looked around and walked over to the control panel, there were so many buttons. She wondered which one did what but she didn't want to ruin anything.
She looked at the strange man, "You probably hear this a lot but it's bigger in the inside." She walked over and held out her hand, "So what's your name?"
