Canon/Original: Original.
Name: Frank (Frankie) Jones.
Age: 1 year, but he looks about 15 years.
Species: Nostrovite.
Planet of Origin: Born on Earth.
Occupation: Teenager.
Physical Description: As a shape-shifter, he doesn't have a set appearance, but he tends to prefer a fair hair, grey eyes, and an almost anorexic build. When provoked or cornered, he can produce viciously sharp teeth and claws, and his eyes will turn red.
Personality: He tends to be very introverted, observing the world around him. He's still very young, and there's a lot about this world that he doesn't understand yet. He is a very fast learner, easily picking up- or at least mimicking- human behaviour. He's quite prone to copying mannerisms from others he meets, in an attempt to understand both that person and the world they live in.
History: Nostrovites mate for life. Like many before them, Frankie's parents came to Earth to hunt, as human flesh is a delicacy to their kind. His race reproduces using an expendable (in this case human) host, who is usually torn to pieces by the Nostrovite mother, when the child is ready to be born.
Frankie's parents were both killed by rogue alien-hunters, before he was born. He was brought into this world by caesarean section, and his human mother survived the ordeal unharmed. He was raised by his human mother and one of the alien-hunters, a woman named Jade. It was in fact Jade who killed his Nostrovite mother to protect his human mother.
A certain coldness in the Nostrovite genetics led Frankie not to resent them when he learned this, but to respect them for successfully slaying something higher up the food chain.
Nostrovites mature phenomenally fast. The pregnancy lasted a day... infancy a week... and now, at only one year old he looks like a teenager. An innate ability to assimilate new information incredibly fast has helped his mental development to keep up with the physical, though he does seem to have the emotional range of a teaspoon.
When he was only two weeks old, he snuck out and followed Jade on one of her alien-hunting excursions. When he found her in mortal danger, he attacked the other creature with teeth and claws. He saved her life that day, and he kind of liked the feeling of protecting the human woman, however contrary to his nature it might be.
His adoptive human parents taught him human moral values, not to harm other sentient beings (however tasty they might smell), as well as the best education they could give him, considering his accelerated growth.
Additional medical information: Nostrovites are carnivorous. Any food that isn't meat of some kind disgusts him, and most of it will make him sick... often violently so.

This character is for Sarah-Jane's school plotline. For the play-by reference, I'm going with William Melling (even though I really HATE Nigel).
