When Sarah Jane had finished her instructions, most of the teachers had taken a group of students and left towards their selected destination. Blue looked at Josh and offered a polite smile, unsure of whether or not he should offer out a hand for a handshake. Deciding against it, he flipped through his notes, finding the section about the environmental space-walker job. Take the kid to the training area, let him have at it with the space suit, and let him run around chasing cats. Blue wasn’t quite sure what one had to do with the other, but Sarah Jane obviously had to have had a plan in mind.
It’d make sense soon enough, he was sure.
The young man had made a pretty lousy first impression, but it seemed as though he were trying to amend that. The Djinn never tried to hold a grudge. His years of being – essentially – a slave to others’ wishes had taught him that first impressions were almost never accurate. Nor was the second, nor the third, nor even the seventeenth. That was a lesson Mattie had taught him…
Forcing the thoughts of his previous master from his head, Blue smiled brightly at Josh. “Follow me,” he said pleasantly, enough authority in his voice to tell the young man that he really didn’t have much other options. He led the young man down the hall, stopping only when they got to the room with where the space-walker was stationed.
ooc| uhh, sorry for the fuzzy instructions. I’m under the impression that there are cats that Josh needs to catch. :’3 Sarah Jane, feel free to correct me. XD
