Character name: Henry Kradston
Species: Human
Homeplanet/time: Somewhere in the Aresian system. 50th century.
Age: 30-35
Appearance: Well-built, though you can't tell very well because he's in a wheelchair. If he could stand straight, he would be about 5'10". He has a strong face, though the right side of it is spider-webbed with white scars, one of which crosses his eye vertically. He has dark brown eyes and hair, though it is going prematurely gray on his right side. Whenever he does get himself to stand, it causes him immense pain because of a severe back injury that will be explained in the background information.
Character background and other important information: He is a clever, well thought-out, stubborn man that takes whatever he does seriously, loves riddles and logic puzzles, and doesn't accept apologies very well. He was drafted into the military at a young age because he had been clssified as a genius. He was always at the top of his class and found plenty of time to also become fairly good at chess.
When war came, he was brought in as one of the chief strategists. His strategies and plans were usually what made the difference between overwhelmng victory and bloody defeat. In, what would become, the final battle, the Doctor came and offered his assistance. Kradston's strategy needed reinforcements. The Doctor promised that and went off to get them. But when the time came, he didn't show.
At the end of the battle, Kradston was found, unconscious and barely alive, in the wreckage of the command center, his back crushed by the solid center-beam and the right side of his face laying in a bed of broken glass. After many years and many surgeries, he vowed that he would make the Doctor pay or deserting him and has been chasing every lead to him since.
