Physical Description: Pretty enough, in a vague sort of ethnic way, Anna has always been the sort of girl to prefer jeans to skirts; her dark hair is usually kept in a long ponytail, and dusky skin is more apt to be smudged with dirt than foundation. In fact, much of the time she’s more interested in what is on her plate than what is on her back. Anna is tall and curvy, but not exceptionally so, with an athletic build.
Personality: Anna is very physical in every sense of the word-she doesn't walk when she can run, jump, or dance, she doesn't stand still when she could fidget, and takes up more space than humanly possible when sleeping.
She chews on her thumbnail or plays with her hair when stressed. She's not afraid to throw a punch. She hates being alone. She plays the part of a brainless flirt as a mask, as a way to make others laugh, as a way to integrate herself in the group-but under that, there's a clever, intelligent young woman with a passion for science and people.
Although she tends to be rather impulsive, especially on her own, she's very much the 'eldest child'-she will almost always put others first in any given situation, and feels herself responsible for the safety and well being of her friends.
History: Anna is happy to admit that growing up in Mesa Verde was crap. Her mother was poor, and drank a bit too much, and Gram is old even if she won’t admit it, and Dad is still nowhere to be found, and more often than not it was Anna taking care of her little sister. She says it like a point of pride-and maybe it is. After all, she not only survived, but thrived, and even managed to make it through college.
Now, she’s still taking care of her family, and she can’t swill soda (or beer) like her friends, but it’s by her own choosing, and so what if archaeology jobs aren’t exactly falling out of the trees? She can almost always find work somewhere, even if it was at the Roadhouse, and that’s more than most can say. So what if she just wants to throw up her hands and walk away?
