Structure Lords
- As there is time there must also be structure. Structure Lords used to spend a good amount of time making sure everything in the universe works properly. They are responsible for making science make sense. They have the ability to "see" the structure's of plants on how they are composed and function. Like the Time Lords however they adopted the idea of not interfering in other planets affairs and they created a plant at the edge of the universe to achieve this. They also tend to have a very long life span and low birth rates. They are run by a group of Elders or the longest lives structure lords. These lords are in a constant battle as to how there planet should work each thinking there idea is best. So the planet is essentially wrought with in fighting. There are classes within the Structure Lords government starting with the Elders then the Chose or the ones hand picked by the elders then there are the Gifted or those who are especially good at reading planets and objects. Finally is the lower groups which are divided in to sub-levels most of the time based on linage.
-Have the ability to "see" objects make up and predict what will happen to it over time.(Ex. by looking at the sun a structure lord can determine that is will eventually expand and envelope the earth)
- Can change the physics of an object slightly (This can have good,bad or no effects on the object)
- Assumptions about an objects path do not include outside influences (Such as the destruction of a planet through a bomb)
-Can be killed by blood loss and explosion. Mirror to the way in which a human can be killed accept they are susceptible to different poisons than humans

Planet of Origin:

Univerwen
- A half plant that consistently changes due to the transitions in power and the inability to agree on one idea. From far away is is an ashen color almost as if it where dead but upon closer inspections it is actually a bustling planet. There planet resides on the outskirts of the universe and stays with its ever moving expansion making it hard to reach and hard to leave. It is half a planet because the other side touches the nothingness and those who walk over "Fall off" so no attempt has been made to expand there.

Physical Description:

Has a humanoid persona with a few key differences. Sommy has skin that is almost rubbery to the touch and three bluish scales under each eye. Apart from that she looks pretty much human. Her eyes are a dark brown almost black and her skin tone is a light brown like a lightly toasted marshmallow. Her overall height is small as she stands a 5'4. However most of her spices ranges on the small side when compared to humans.

Personality:

Interested and ready to learn Sommy is constantly looking for new ideas and new concepts bored with her home worlds basic ideas of what a planet should be. She wishes to see the galaxy for herself and not read about it or be lectured about it in books. She is the type of person that constantly wants to see new things and is hard to tie down. As far as intelligence she is pretty bright but easily bored. She'd rather attempt to do something right away than read the directions and do it right. This makes a bit spontaneous and unreliable. Sommy will not remember important stuff for others as she is often to busy remembering ideas and new things for herself. In that sense she could be considered shallow but in reality Sommy has a big heart and doesn't like seeing people sad. She will more often than not lend a hand to help even if it does risk her own safety.

History:

Born on Univerwen Sommy has spent her life being raised as a proper Structure Lord learning to read the make up of objects and how to control the things around her. She is what is considered a wild child constantly hiding in the Elders study looking over there works. This made her favored by most of them and she was treated as a naughty grandchild and often scolded playfully for her actions. Since her parents where composed of a Chosen and a Gifted she was expected to succeed. However as she started to grow she lost interest. Found the entire thing boring and in a sense gave up on the dream society had placed on her. She had already learned when she was young what she wanted to know about being a Structure Lord and now she wanted to be something more than a being trapped on a half planet. This angered her parents and brought about even more discord between the elders. (who fought over almost anything). So she went for a young prodigy into fading into the background as she was replaced by another child and left grow up alone. She spent most of her time staring up at the darkness in her sky's wondering if there was anything else out there. Her chance arrived as an alien managed to land on her planet. His origins where unknown and his presences was unwelcome as he taken away to court and never heard from again. However Sommy's concern was not for the being but for his ship that she stole before they destroyed it. By luck she managed to escape her plant and was hurtled out into space. There is where she learned the harshness of space and the need for everyday things. Such as a meal. However she managed to take refuge on a planet of aliens who where quite versed in space travel and who gave her a hand by teaching her the basics. There she spend a good 200 years and in a sense became one of them. A space loving girl who was knowledgeable in the functioning of most ships. Soon however she began to long for something beyond that planet and she left them to take once again to the unknown and to space. That's how she found earth. Landing in a desert she was not captured as an alien but her space craft was stranding her on earth. She was taken in by a nice family or rather the families daughter who insisted she was an orphan girl with a terrible past she wasn't going to share but should be allowed to stay because they where friends. They remained close friends untill the girls death in witch Sommy set off again this time looking for a way off the planet.

can you please provide an example of what you mean by the fact that they can change physics of an object

Sommy could change the density of water by .01 thus effecting how objects react to water. This then in an hypothetical planet because I am not a wizz at science could make Ice sink instead of float. I can understand if you think that the power might be a bit strong and i'm trying to think of ways to limit it so its not overpowering but as of right now i'm stumped.

Yes none of that. I figured id have the plant isolated so it doesn't play into the story at all and just follows as a backdrop for my characters history. Is it alright if she changes the density of a single object for a limited amount of time. For example if someone came at her with a sword she could make the metal heavier than its supposed to be for a few seconds or something or is that to much?
