Physical Description:Rani has black hair and brown eyes, and her skin is a light brown colour, like an Asian girl. She is usually seen wearing jeans and denim jackets. She's tall, and sort of thin, but not stick-thin like some people are. Rani doesn't look really scary when she's angry, but she can be very fierce.
Personality: Rani is curious, nosy and interested in journalism. As soon as she started seeing Bob the clown, when she first came to bannerman Road, she was suspicious, and wanted to find out what was going on. She's still as curious as ever, but now she knows that when aliens come down to Earth, not all of them want a war, or to kill humans. But she also knows that guns aren't the best way to deal with aliens.
History:Rani moved into 13 Bannerman Road shortly after Maria left. When she went to the Park Vale school, she immediatley bumped into Clyde and Luke, but didn't really seem to take to Clyde much. Rani became friends with Luke and he told her about Maria, but was careful to leave out the aliens. Rani had started seeing a clown everywhere, but was afraid to tell her dad, the Headmaster of Park Vale. Soon after, she found out about the aliens and Mr Smith, the supercomputer, and eventually Sarah Jane accepted Rani as one of the team.
