Canon Episodes: ad infinitum, but specifically The Doctor's Wife
Name: The TARDIS, Time and Relative Dimension in Space (Type 40), "the ship", "the blue box", "the police box", "old girl", Sexy
Age: 1000+ years
Species: TARDIS, for interstellar and omnitempus transportation.
Planet of Origin: Gallifrey
Occupation: We travel. I go [vworp vworp]...
Physical Description: Anything and everything all at once, but for the past 900 years she's been satisfied with taking the form of a lovely blue Public Call box from the 1960's. When her door swings open she contains a full spacecraft, with multiple control rooms and other leisure spaces that can be changed in function and design at will by the Doctor. She weighs roughly 50,000 tons, and makes a distinct noise upon dematerializing and rematerializing characterized phonetically by [vworp vworp].
Personality: A feisty old girl, she stole a Time Lord to escape her fate as a museum showpiece. She can come off as unreliable, but her all expansive views into the whole of space and time allow her to make wise choices that even the Doctor can't foresee. She aligns as Chaotic Neutral--she's not interested in politics, but she is interested in self-preservation and the relative safety of her thief.
History: Grown for use by the Time Lords of Gallifrey, she once belonged to the Time Lord Marnal, a childhood hero of the Doctor. When she was decommissioned after being deemed obsolete, she was incarcerated in a History of Space/Time Transport museum on Gallifrey. Not pleased with this, she enticed the Doctor to liberate her and has been traveling with him for 900 years. Recently, she has had a taste of human mortality through the human bodies of Rose Tyler and Idris of House, and the unfamiliar and curious feeling of being alive and able to fully communicate with her Doctor and his strays has peaked her interest.
Additional medical information The TARDIS has no human form, and communicates via telepathic link when required. She has, however, developed the curious habit of projecting herself into the minds of whatever species happens to be inhabiting her at the moment, or even full on possession of a conscious life form when it suits her needs.
