Even though she had been walking around for what had seemed like days, Jenny was enjoying it. But exploring with another person made it even better. She continued to watch in amusement as the residents went about their normal daily lives in complete ignorance of the fact that the universe had it in for them. The Earth had everything against it. From floating space debris, alien’s life bent on domination or destruction, and even their own planet seemed hell bent on making life hard. But Jenny thought that it was all completely brilliant.
As Tess explained her creation Jenny became even more fond of the girl. She, like Jenny was the same in so many ways. They were both about the same age, both created through mens that were not natural, accelerated growth, born with intelligence, and knowledge. In a way it was like looking into a mirror. The only difference seemed to be that while Tess was created by someone who was not nice, Jenny was created for the purpose of war.
A beep sounded from within Jenny’s jacket. “I don’t know what a pawn is but I think we better find out,” Jenny said with a surge of excitement coursing through her veins. Now was some unexpected excitement and adventure. She grinned at Tess and walked up to the shops door, opening it as Tess had done at her home and waited for Tess to enter. “Perhaps it is time to do some technological shopping?”

She grinned, happy to have found her new friend and watched the people around. Jenny had admitted to not knowing what a pawn was and now they were going to go look inside and go technological shopping, this was ganna be great!
She moved forward, through the door Jenny held open for them and looked around. There, at a counter was an tall, strong and somewhat mean looking man staring at them. "Hello." she greeted the man as she stepped further inside. The man looked at the two and motioned toward the inventory strewn thoughout the store, he wanted them to shop not chat.
(you pick the tech we find.)

Jenny followed Tess into the shop, a small bell jingling from a small hook on the doors old worn frame. Light followed them in and crept in through the darkened dirty glass from the stores front windows. The first thing that Jenny did upon entry was not to inspect the stores occupant, which was more of an unconscious built in instinct. Jenny let Tess deal with the locals and instead went for the shelves lining the stores with determination. She reached in and pulled out her detector a faint hum and static sounding click could faintly be heard.
The man behind the counter didn’t look happy about her taking the device out but then Jenny didn’t care. After casting a concerned glance at her new found friend, Jenny made her way through the store. “We have a winner, radiation admittance…” jenny said in all seriousness.
She continued to make her way towards the device and its long forgotten hiding place. From its readings she could already tell that it wasn’t something that could be left to the human store worker. It was too dangerous; someone could get seriously hurt, entombed, or killed with technology like this. "Tess, this could get messy."
(OOC: I have something in mind... we still need monsters though. XD )

OOC: I have plans, ohh can I get a hover board here too? It'll be awesome cause my plans involve a storage room with alien tech and pieces of alien tech to build stuff, and also badass alien. And Free Stuff
IC:
The redhead turned her attention back toward Jenny as the blond wandered the store with her little device. She liked it, it was a cool device to say the least. The man however didn't seem to happy about it and that concerned her a little. Her eyes shifted toward him and she frowned before walking over to Jenny. "What is it do you think?" she asked staring at the item in question.
The shop keeper began to get agitated rather quickly which didn't go unnoticed by the girl. "He's a wrong person." she said, pointing subtly toward the man. As her eyes locked on his, the man's began to glow and his voice boomed out of his mouth in a strange deep way that was so not normal. "Back away from the device!" he ordered, removing a strange little gun from under the counter. The glowing in his eyes only lasting a few seconds but long enough to be noticed.
(I've been watching stargate SG-1 so I'm thinking of the Goau'ld or however you spell that best badguys EVER!!! Oh and the gun is something I intend of taking after this cause I know the kind of gun it is, you'll see.)

(Yes, yes you may. We need threats anyway so you can be a threat after the current threat if you want or a not-threat.)

Something stirred within her subconscious. A feeling, a forewarning, to Jenny it seemed as if there was a flux in the air as she came closer to the object that she sought. The hairs on the back of her neck prickled and stood on end. Whatever the device was she was certain that it was not completely turned off. It was functioning and it seemed to call out to her from its vast distance. She lowered her device and started to reach out her hand. She instead went by the eerie feeling that the device was broadcasting. Her hand rested on a small ornate sphere. It was just a little bigger than the palm of her hand. Dust covered its spiraling ornate etchings to almost obscure them. Whatever it was she was sure it was inside the sphere and that the golden ornate object seen was but a casing for something within.
“I’m not sure yet. It seems to...” Jenny’s words drifted off. “It is affecting the time-space continuum… it… the radiation from somewhere else is leaking into this space.” The object itself seemed strangely right to her but what it was doing felt the opposite. It needed shut down and shut down quickly. Jenny picked it up almost entranced by it. Tess’s warnings barely registering, then…
Something clicked in Jenny’s mind and something clicked within the sphere. Twin small and shiny objects fell from within the casing and came to rest within her palm. Jenny’s back was completely to the man and his strange weapon. “You mean this?” She asked holding up the now resealed and empty sphere. “If you want it then here… catch.” She spun on her heal and threw the golden sphere with all her might right at the man’s head. It was then that she realized there was a weapon pointed at them. Oppps…

She stared at Jenny, stared at the thing she was reaching for and then at the man with the glowing eyes, the voice...deep and clear and malicious in nature rang through her mind. The man flew back slightly, still on his feet for a second back bending as he did. He fell to the floor, finger pulling the trigger of the weapon sending a discharge at the redhead.
Eyes widened as the pain hit, it spiked through her whole body, not just the spot it hit but her entire nervous system. She fell to the ground quickly, a pained expression on her face and eyes that moved in all directions. This was unbelievable...so very unbelievably painful. She'd been hurt by Mrs. Wormwood for mistakes she'd made but never like this, never in a way which left no physical markings on the body to show for it.
After a few moments she layed still, unmoving, chest rising and falling slightly with every breath. She wasn't fully conscious anymore. However seh knew what it was now that had hurt her, electiveness of some kind. Such a Shocking occurrence (lol bad pun)
She wanted to say something now, something very impotent "K...we need one of those." she said with a small grin.
(what is Jenny holding and what did she throw? Is it Stargate-related and if so what is it?)

Jenny watched in horror as a burst of energy shot through the air and hit Tess square on, before the man hit the ground from the high velocity spherical object that cracked him in the head. Tess went down with a look of intense pain on her face and Jenny could do nothing but look on in helpless horror.
“Tess, Tess… are you alright?” Jenny dropped down next to the now semi-prone, semi-conscious form of her new friend. Some friend you are, got her shot in your first adventure with her. Rapidly Jenny checked the girl’s vital signs and felt a wash of relief come over her. “I’m so sorry, so sorry…” she said over and over. “Didn’t realize he was armed.” Jenny felt the fool, she should have known better. She should have been more prepared for a strike at any moment.
When Tess spoke Jenny grinned back at her hesitantly. “Well I guess you can just have his then. He isn’t going to be needing it for awhile. No shooting anyone else for the likes of him.” She said and then looked down at the small objects in her hand. Twin rings sat there making the hairs in her arms raise.
She couldn’t see anything about them that was extraordinary or unusual. They looked like the type of things that one would put on their finger. “Gotta get these turned off or get them off the planet. Can you feel that?” Jenny asked before she suddenly stood and slipped them into her jacket pocket. “First things first, must make sure creepy guy over there is disarmed and bound. Can you sit up or stand?” She asked offering Tess a hand.
(It’s a Gallifreyan thing. They are called time rings. The thing she threw was just a high velocity, heavy, hard, spherical object, of impending doom to the poor sucker that got hit in the head with it. )

She listened to Jenny, the worry, the apology and blinked a few times. Red hair in her face as she sat up rather quickly, head spinning as she did. Her eyes moved to Jenny and the rings in her hand which soon went into her pocket. They made her feel...tingly or odd in some way.
She stood up and walked over to where the man lay, the gun close to his hand but no longer in it. She picked it up quickly and looked at it. "How much damage do you think it does?" she asked, eying Jenny through the side of her eyes and lightly nudging the no longer awake man. She smiled at him and asked Jenny another question. "Should I test it?" she questioned pointing to the man in reference.
Sarah Jane wouldn't like it if she did, but this man had tried to kill her just now, and he wasn't normal because people's eyes didn't glow and his did.

Jenny made sure Tess was steady enough on her feet before she stopped her single minded concern over the other girl’s well-being. Following Tess over to the man she glared at him as if he were the cause of all her problems and she had no problems with Tess using him as a weaponry test subject. She had a feeling that her father would be less then pleased with her current thoughts at the moment and her uncharitable belief that the man deserved whatever he got in terms of pain and suffering.
“I think it does enough damage and yes…” Jenny said with conviction, “I really think you should test it out. Make sure it works properly for future reference.” She knew it was probably the sort of thing that most would frown upon but at the moment Jenny didn’t care. She took out her technology detector and thought briefly that it really did need a proper name. She once again swept the area finding readings from bother the rings in her pocket as well as the weapon that Tess had relieved from her tormentor.
But there was also something else and Jenny followed the readings to a door that was located behind the man. Reaching up she opened the door and glanced inside. “And the excitement doesn’t end here…” she muttered. Glancing back at Tess as she took a step through the door and turned back to face her. “Looks like our friend her is holding a small stash of alien tech back here somewhere,” she stated.

The man's eyes flicked open and the glowing began again for a second before the deep voice set in. "You, give me my gun child!" he demanded firmly, threateningly. "Tell me who you are first." replied the redhead with a small smirk on her lips and eyes glued to him.
The man wasn't afraid of her, she knew that and that worried her. She had a gun pointed at him and he wasn't afraid...at all! "Iam Icarus, messanger of the great gods." he replied simply, seeming rather proud of these gods of his.
Tess frowned at him for a moment. "Icarus was the messenger of the gods in Greek legend, a guy with funny sandals that had wings on them that make him fly...not a glowing eyed alien." she replied simply before moving the gun slightly. "Heres a message for your gods though...Don't mess with Earth because it is defended." she said in a somewhat harsh warning tone as she fired off the gun.
The man was still alive...that was kind of a shame but nothing to do about it now. Turning to Jenny, she walked over and followed her inside. "What do you think two shots with this thing does?" she asked curiously. She wanted to test it but did that guy really deserve whatever else the gun did?
Moving over towards several boxes she started to open them, inside were various items ranging from golf balls to Nintendo Wii's and XBox 360s.

Jenny heard a phrase of words that she absolutely hated to hear, although for once it was directed at someone else. Her reaction to his demands was almost instinctual. “She is not a child!” Jenny called back into the room with a hint of anger in her voice. Just as Tess was not impressed with the gods of the man and his message’s neither was Jenny and she was rather pleased that Tess had shut him up so effectively.
“Pretty full of himself wouldn’t you say?” Jenny said while surveying the guns handy work. “Well if I were to make a guess I would say that considering the probably damage of one burst a second would cause twice the damage and result in death or a seriously compromised condition. So unless you want him dead or permanently injured you may want to refrain.”
Jenny thought briefly of how once upon a time killing the man would have meant nothing to her. It would have been all in a day’s work as a soldier during a time of war. She stepped back towards the contents in the store room and started going through boxes. Most of the contents she had no idea of their purpose and she shook her head several times at the bizarre nature of many of them.
One particular item she sort of figured out however. It had what appeared to be two ear pieces and several buttons. Putting the ear pieces into her ears she randomly pushed a few of the buttons. Sound filled her ears and she stood there in fascination. She had never heard anything like it. “What is this sound?” Jenny questioned, looking at Tess in amazement.
