So, hypothetically, if I wanted to organize some sort of crew (for an exploration or merchant ship or something) how would I go about doing that? Is it even allowed? Thanks.

Dear Ginger,

The short answers is, hypothetically, yes.

The place to start is by creating and submitting a character.

Then Tenth will either approve your character, or give you suggestions on how you can fit more logically into the Whoniverse. Tenth is often on, and I've seen her move applications though in a day or two, quite often. However, for the past two weeks or so, Tenth has been very busy and not posting. I suspect that in a matter of days, Tenth will be back to driving this place quite smartly, and responding to posts.

Even while Tenth is not around, other Moderators tend to put their two cents in to help get you started.

Once you have your character, you can certainly recruit among one and all to join you on your ship.

You can find a board called clans and guilds under the character-related category - the group of boards under the out of character stuff. I don't know if it would be for something like this, but it sounds reasonable.

Alternatively, you can find character coordinating efforts under the same category.
