Hermione landed her TARDIS and locked the door. Pocketing the key, she walked across the street. It was a dark, dull day, and it looked as though it might rain. Hermione didn't care. She couldn't think about anything but the Time Lords and Time Ladys right now.She heard a sudden odd noise, like the sound of a statue. Hermione stopped and slowly, slowly, started to turn her head round. She stopped herself with a shiver. She sensed something was there and for some reason felt as though she shouldn't look it in the eyes. With a sudden jolt, she remembered she'd left Holly alone, and---- Hermione suddenly wondered if this creature had taken Holly. "Did you Take Holly Ahlenia?"asked Hermione, knowing it was there. _____________________ Music: Within Temptation - Angels Notes: Sorry, didn't know what else to put.

"If I did, I didn't ask her name," the oddly metered voice answered, a bemused tone drifting from the vicinity of the Time Lady's Tardis. From behind it, actually, for Gabriel was loathed to be spotted and trapped just yet. Still, the alluring machine was as secure as the one he'd lost a span of freedom for, and its owner appeared more alert.

Hermione felt a sudden urge to turn and face the creature. "What are you and what are you doing on earth?" Hermione asked with a cold, angry edge to her voice. How was it that she couldn't look at the creature? "Oh and by the way you might want to get AWAY from my ship RIGHT NOW." said Hermione furiously, smart as ever. She had heard the voice from near the TARDIS so yeah.

As soon as she turned, Gabriel was stilled. The Tardis, in its current disguise, simply did not screen him from view well enough. Landed in a small memorial park, empty of people today, thanks to the weather, it had adapted itself to the most likely figure: another angelic statue.
The Tardis' celestial figure stood upon an unmarked granite pedestal, looking perfectly beatific, and appropriately innocuous. Gabriel, now locked immobile in his marble form, stood upon the paved area just beneath it, which had provided a convenient landing pad for the ship. He was up on his toes, wings thrown out for balance and hand lifted as though to touch the features of the other angel, which was not an angel either, really. Actually he'd been looking for the door.
Stuck like this they made quite the artistic installation together, but now Gabriel could neither reply, nor even hope to obey her fiercely delivered command, though he was hardly likely to even if he could have.

Hermione, thinking the creature was gone, turned away and let her eyes blink slowly before doing so. Ok, keep it together. "so I can't see you.How come I can hear you?" Hermione had never known the angels before and was unaware of their existence.

"You can't, really," Gabriel answered, hands searching quickly over the Tardis and indeed finding it locked to him. Not unexpected, but still frustrating. "This is just a reanimated consciousness. I've had her a while. Poor thing's getting worn out."
The sympathy in the tone had a definite falseness to it as he described the means by which he communicated. He gave up on the ship at last and sat down at the base of the false statue, legs folded demurely aside, hip and ribcage leaned along the pedestal with one arm laid along it where he could rest his cheek on his folded hands.

"Right." So Hermione had to guess what this creature was. Wait, what had she seen by the TARDIS? An angel. A statue. She remembered her foster mother's words "Blind to the eye that dares look their way,but as soon as they blink or turn away....The Weeping Angel comes to life." "You're a weeping angel!"[./color] Hermione said triumphantly. "So, why haven't you taken ME yet? Or is there something you need me for?" Hermione thought about it. This happened sometimes.

"The key to your lovely ship would be nice. I'd rip her shining heart out and devour it," there was something lewd about the way the angel talked about consuming the energy of the ship. Less like a hungry person thinking about food than a deviant mind elaborating the tortures he had planned for his next victim.
The angels could feed on nearly any kind of energy, were capable of deriving sustenance from simple and abundant sources like electricity or geothermal energy. But that was like saying a man could survive on rice, and when it came to feasting there were other, more terrible and wonderful, related pleasures.

"Nope. The key has been copied many times only for my companions. And my recent doesn't have one yet. So, don't think about searching her because I KNOW you have her." the last sentence was said pointedly, so the Angel told her if she had Holly or not. "Anyway, what are you doing here? Were you here all because of the TARDIS? If so, how did you find it?? Tracking?" Hermione suggested.

"It smells so gorgeous," Gabriel supplied, running one slender hand along the ship's facade. "I would have known you were here from miles away, but you happen to have stumbled into my hunting grounds. I like this world. It's creatures are so... fascinating."
Not a word about this "Holly" girl. It would hardly be that easy. The Angels were a patient people, of generally very few words, and though Gabriel was a bit of an anomaly, rather loquacious by their standards, he also had a penchant for mischief and mystery.

OOC:I'm going to post with Holly because I'm signed in with her and also i was wondering if you wanted her to join?Hermione raised her eyebrows. "Well, good luck on that, because I'll tell you something, this key isn't leaving my hand no matter what you say or do to me, alright?" Hermione wondered if Holly was there. If she was, anyway, she shouted "Don't panic, Holly, I won't leave without you!" Great, just great, Hermione thought furiously.

(OOC: However you like it. ) A sound like twisting metal broke the afternoon quiet as Gabriel laughed. The idea of this small, soft creature speaking so defiantly was terribly entertaining to him. "If I have her, she can't hear you. If I have her, she is somewhen long ago, and somewhere far away. I've probably already devoured all the potential she had to offer anybody," Gabriel grinned a grin full of vicious fangs, his usually serene, androgynous features twisted by his wicked glee. His retractable claws slid forward as he clung closer to the base of the TARDIS, curling up like a serpent prepared to strike. This was fun. Such a lovely young Time Lord, so green and unprepared.
