Amy was getting use to this whole time travel thing. It was one adventure after another. Going from place to place and time to time. The TARDIS was still a big mystery. How it made her understand languages. Oh and that sonic screw driver was another mystery. as Amy was learning, she still had so much to learn. One thing she did know was when the doctor said he will be right back and left in the TARDIS, he did not alway come back right away.
Amy was use to it. Only this time the doctor had to come back eventually. Amy was on earth but in a futuristic time and she was not sure exactly where she was. Of course she was not exactly staying still Amy wasmoving around just taking in what the future looked like. She had determined it was far in the future, but she literally had only been there a day and was waiting for the doctors return.
Amy also had no clue about the regeneration thing yet. So she was not aware that the man she was about to literally bump into and speak to, was the doctor. When her body collided with his she turned around. "You lost too?" She asked.

((I'll join as Donna. Rose would get jealous insanely quickly and then it would be annoying.))
Donna, who had been looking around much like Amy had been, opened her mouth and looked ahead to ask the Doctor something. It was lucky she did at that moment, however, because she only narrowly escaped a collision with the Doctor's stopped body. At his side, she looked at the girl who had bumped into him. She looked be around 20 years old with fiery hair a shade lighter than Donna's own.
"You lost too?" She asked.
"He's always lost," Donna said, poking fun at the Doctor. "He likes it that way."

The Doctor hadn't really been paying attention to where he was going. Rather, he had been so intent on wanting to show Donna the planet's famous caves, that he was taken by surprise when a human female bumped into him.
Like Donna, this female had red hair -- something the Doctor had never had himself. He had considered dying it one time, but he wasn't sure that human hair dye would work well on Time Lord hair.
The female had asked him a question -- if he was lost. He opened his mouth to answer, but his current companion beat him to it. Not only did she beat him to it, but she had managed to insult him in the comment.
"Now Donna," he said, "I'm never really lost....it's just that...I don't know the geography of the places we travel to...sometimes....well, okay....often...but that's not being lost."
He glanced at female who had asked if he was lost, "What exactly are you looking for?"

Amy hid a chuckle as the red head insulted the man she was traveling with. "i know someone who feels the same way." The doctor obviously did not like to admit when he was lost. Of course Amy was unaware she was talking to the doctor. To her this was two random people on a planet. The same planet as her, actually that thought did make her wonder, but Amy decided she would worry about that in a bit. Now the question was how did she ask two strangers if they had seen a mad man with a blue box running around.
"Uh, my friend. Yeah he um...took off on me. Said he would be right back and he hasn't come back yet. I was thinking I might find him but for some reason I am beginning to think that will not happen." which meant the doctor would eventually find her, but she wanted to explore. Amy was very impatient sometimes. "You guys come here a lot?" It was a stupid question but she did not exactly want to ask if they traveled in time. Maybe they were from there. "The names Amy...what can I call you?" she asked them.

The Doctor studied Amy a moment and then nodded, "Well, that would depend on what you meant by that....I do come here a lot, but not this specific location..."
They were on Earth after all, but it was a futuristic Earth...during a time in which space travel was normal. This is why the Doctor didn't hesitate to add, "It's my favorite planet, actually..."
"Oh....you lost your friend? Maybe I could help you look for him...oh...and I'm the Doctor, by the way....and this is Donna." He gestured to Donna. "Where did you last see your friend?"
He of course had no idea that Amy knew the Doctor -- in the future. Knowing how things normally turned out for him, he suspected that there could be something behind the disappearance of her friend -- some alien or some sort of trouble. Then again, he also knew it was much more likely that this friend of Amy's just happened to go somewhere. Perhaps he was part of a special research team that was investigating something?

"Favorite Planet...exactly how many planets have you been to?" She asked it meaning for it to sound sarcastic, but it came out more sounding as an actual questions. Him saying alone this was his favorite planet screamed time traveller to Amy. Which meant she and the doctor were not alone.
Amy had never considered that other people may time travel as well. For some reason she thought it was just her and the doctor. Then again Amy knew she tended to get caught up in the adventures more then anything, which meant she never considered other time travelers before.
"Wait did you just say you were the Doctor?" She asked looking the man over. "You don't look like a doctor. I know a doctor and you don't look like the doctor..." Now things were becoming confusing. If this man was claiming to be the doctor...then...were there two of him. "Are there two doctors?" She asked not sure.
Usually Amy was confident and knew the answer before she asked a questin but now things were getting confusing.

"Favorite Planet...exactly how many planets have you been to?"
"Oh, please don't ask him that!" Donna interrupted quickly, the lilt in her voice suggesting she was playing fun again. Donna on the other hand didn't know whether she was serious or not. "He's likely to start actually listing them out, he's got such a gob!"
"Wait did you just say you were the Doctor?" She asked looking the man over. "You don't look like a doctor. I know a doctor and you don't look like the doctor..." Now things were becoming confusing. If this man was claiming to be the doctor...then...were there two of him. "Are there two doctors?"
Donna furrowed her brow as well and took the lead from the Doctor, sure the girl was confused. "This is the Doctor. Your friend may be a doctor, but he can't be...this Doctor. I mean..." Donna trailed off, confusing herself now, trying to explain without the knowledge of the idea of regeneration, that there had to be only one.

This other Doctor had asked Amy where she had last seen her friend, and she stopped and thought about it for a moment - whether she should mention the TARDIS specifically, or not...
Amy decided that it might be best to be as vague as possible.
When she opened her mouth to speak again, and Amy said, "Well... This is going ta sound completely bonkers, but..." Amy trailed off, offering The Doctor and Donna an apologetic smile. "We came from so, so very far away, an' we came here together in a big, blue box - it's his, uhh... Vehicle," Amy explained round-aboutly.
"This is the Doctor. Your friend may be a doctor, but he can't be...this Doctor. I mean..."
Amy sighed. She furrowed her brow and took a good, long look at this Doctor. Sure, he was handsome, but he wasn't her Doctor. At least... He didn't look like it, and he didn't seem to recognize Amy on iota.
"Anyway, he said he'd be right back... He hasn't returned yet, an' I was startin' ta get worried... So, I wanted ta ask ye if either o' ye've seen a man running around with a big, blue box?"

Donna stared unwittingly at the girl...Slowly and a bit jerkingly she turned her head to look up at the Doctor, a question jumping out at him in her extremely bewlidered eyes. A once-in-a-million occurrence, Donna was rendered speechless.
((OOC: usually I'd post more, but there's not much I can say here))

Amy watched Donna's reaction with curiosity, and then she took another good, long look at this man who also called himself The Doctor. He couldn't possibly be her Doctor... No way...
Could he?
Amy started to remember something from the first night she met The Doctor, back when she had been just seven years old. He had mentioned something like, "New mouth, new rules" that night, while she was trying to fix him something to eat that he would actually like. He'd also walked straight into a tree, like the concept of walking had been brand new to him... In fact, he had stated that he was 'still cooking'... whatever that meant.
Amy was just starting to wonder if somehow this was important, while she looked up to this other Doctor, to see what he might say, since Donna seemed to have clammed up, for some reason...
Something felt a bit... off.

The Doctor’s eyes went wide in surprise at the young woman. It wasn’t often that he encountered someone who knew of his previous or future selves. In this case he was pretty sure she was a person from his future, since he had never laid eyes upon the girl before.
His eyes then took on one of intensity. A question of utmost importance coming to his mind, if this woman was from his future then she might be able to answer one of the most important questions of his 900 plus years of adventurous life.
“I’m The Doctor… so you must be from the future.” He stated his mind racing with questions and thought. “I must have regenerated, cheated death so to speak… New face, new personality, new everything... But if you know me in the future then you must…” He trailed off momentarily.
“Amy is it? Amy I have an important question for you. It is of the utmost importance!” His eyes burned in intensity looking her straight in the eyes.
“Am I… Ginger!?”

He was talking too fast. He always talked too fast! She couldn't understand everything...what was he saying?
Regenerated...the word whipped by without the time to fully comprehend what it meant. She blinked.
The question he was going to ask, about the future, it was important. Donna's brow furrowed, trying to figure out what was going on, as she looked at him staring into the girl's eyes...
“Am I… Ginger!?”
"Ginger?!" Donna exclaimed incredulously. That was his question? "Boy, if I didn't already know you were crazy, space man..."

"Wot?" Amy asked, stifling a giggle. "Ye want ta know if ye wind up Ginger?" Amy asked in disbelief - though, she knew she oughtn't be at all surprised by anything The Doctor said. In fact, Amy thought that Donna had put it quite nicely when she had said, "Boy, if I didn't already know you were crazy, space man..."
Amy took another look at Donna, then, and wondered briefly if all of The Doctor's past companions had been redheads... Then, she shook her head and laughed a bit.
Looking back to The Doctor, Amy couldn't ignore his seriousness, so she sobered up her mood a little and put on a straight face.
"Err... Sorry, but... not that I know of, Doctor," Amy replied apologetically.
"But, tha you that I know does have a rather spectacular head o' hair," she added with a cheery smile, as if trying to soften the blow.

Donna continued to wait for the Doctor to respond, to reply, to explain. Both of them couldn't be speechless, that was an impossibility. The man never stopped talking.
