Name: Jeremy Baines
Age: physical body is about 18 years old, in reality only a few years
Species: A member of the Family of Blood (can't remember if there was an actual name for them?)
Planet of Origin: unkown
Occupation: Unwilling protector of England
Physical Description: Though the Family of Blood are telepathic beings without physical structure, they must take on hosts of pre-existing bodies in order for them to survive. Son of Mine's last body was that of an English school prefect, which he is now eternally bound to by the Doctor's punishment. This body is tall with dark hair and wild gray eyes. He is almost awkward, gangly-limbed, and thin. He has a haunted, insane expression that never seems to leave his face, and he rarely blinks.
Personality: Son of Mine is a natural leader. He is used to making decisions, leading his family, and watching out for their well-being. He has a cruel, twisted sense of humor and little regard for creatures outside of his family. His temper is short, quick to judge, and eager to action. He has little patience for humans and despises his role as a protector of time.
History: Originally, the Family of Blood was a short-lived race who spent their entire life-span searching out hosts that would enable them to live for a time. Without a host to feed off of, the Family would only live for an average of about three months. In the episodes Human Nature and the Family of Blood, the Family go after the Doctor, wanting his Time Lord body so that they could live forever. They don't get the Doctor, but he punishes them for attacking an English town to get to him. Each member of the Family is allowed to live as they wished in various circumstances. The Son's fate was to be suspended in time as the protector of England.
