History: Apollon is a long-time ally of Emmehujidat - neither one would be fool enough to consider the other a friend. Apollon linked his fortunes to those of the rising Emmehujidat long ago, aiding in the consipiracy against the ancient royal family.
He is aware that he could, technically, bring Emmehujidat down. He knows where enough of the bodies are buried. But he also knows that such an action would destroy him - he handled the shovel for many of those bodies.
