Planet Archetryx, the Hatchling Cluster, the Samalanath Spiral
Sub-Minister for Extra-Temporal Xenosentient Interactions Kwahootcaakwa anxiously brushed a near-imaginary speck of lint from the third demilapel of his lavender crushed velvet semi-formal mid-afternoon coat, and fought the instinctive urge to shuffle his feet in a dance of anxiety. Years of work, decades of work, veritable centuries of sentient-hours of work had gone into arranging this conference. The Archetryx, the Monan Host, the Gelth, and many others (even the reclusive Great Race) had labored to this end.
And now? Now was the realization of those labors, the culmination of all that had been worked for. Here, the enigmatic Time Lords had agreed to meet with the implacable Daleks, to discuss coexistance, to work to achieve peace.
The first of the delegates to the conference had already arrived. They were important, and had been met by individuals of appropriate rank. Sub-Minister Kwahootcaakwa had not greeted them. A Sub-Minister for Extra-Temporal Xenosentient Interactions was reserved for the greatest of the conference delegates. It was his duty to welcome the Gallifreyan Delegation, and the Skaro Delegation, and they would be the last to arrive.
It was a matter of precedence. They were the most important of the participants, and they must not be upstaged.
He realized he was twenty-two steps into the ritual Dance of Placation, and forced himself to stop. He would do his duty.
He just wished his throat were not so dry.

Meanwhile, in the Citadel on Gallifrey another meeting was take place. This particular meeting was being held for the purpose of selecting those Time Lords who would be part of the delegation team to The Archetryx Conference.
Emmehujidat, Correon, Jed, and Braxofgukr were among those present.
Tylerhathan was also there, but only because Emmehujidat had ordered him to act as the janitor, picking up after the members of the High Council and making sure that nothing went wrong with the technical equipment. Tylerhathan stood near the entrance to the main meeting room, leaning against the wall. He himself yearned to be part of the delegation, but all hopes for taking part in such an event were long past.
(others may create Time Lords and then join in this thread. We actually DO need more Time Lord High Council members and important people.)

Apollonilisaimistiri strolled into the room, whistling a jaunty little tune. He passed by Tylerhathan with hardly a notice, pausing only to toss his outer cloak onto the man with the same casual lack of notice he might have used for a coat rack.
He took his seat and smiled at the others, ignoring the stern looks his seniors were giving him for his lack of decorum. "Have we a quorum?" he asked.

Tylerhathan watched as Apollonilisaimistiri tossed his outer cloak onto him. However, a small smirk on his face, he let the outer cloak slide to the ground without any effort to catch it. He quickly bent over to pick it up. However, as he went to pick it up, he made sure to "accidentally" step on it a few times. If some of the High Council members wanted to treat him like a coat rack, he would oblige them. Coats fell off of coat racks all the time, after all. Many of the members on the High Council knew of his true identity, although not all of them did.
He strolled over to the actual coat rack and placed Apollonilisaimistiri's cloak on it, making sure that it wouldn't fall off.
_______________ Correon was not in favor of the way that several of the other High Councilmen treated one of Emmehujidat's slaves. Because he wasn't exactly a follower of Emmehujidat, he had been called away on an "emergency" during Aragorn's trial. He'd heard about the details of it later, but he didn't know which man he Aragorn was, or what had become of him. For all he knew, the man had been killed by the Council.
Correon frowned at Apollonilisaimistiri as he watched the man enter the room and throw his outer cloak on Tylerhathan. Giving the man a stern look, he shook his head. Why must some Gallifreyans treat others that way?
Emmehujidat smiled slightly when he noticed Apollonilisaimistiri's behavior, nodding to the man as he came in. The Lord President was expected at the meeting, so this time Emmehujidat would not get to be in charge.
