Name: Sundosia
Age: 32
Species: Valia - An advanced aggressive insectoid race, though some are docile, they all have aggressive tendencies. They are often technology scavengers and thieves, stealing technology from other species, or looting it off of fallen ships, then using it for their own gain. All of them take on the appearance of some form of human insects such as Praying Mantis, Horn Beetle, Wasp, Hornet and even have a thick exoskeleton that is a color variation of the insect they take after.
Most of them have glowing light yellow eyes but some of them have red or blue or green. To describe their behavior would be to quote the saying "Survival of the fittest", there are often fights for dominance and a hierarchy is constantly being established. While they do have free-will and are capable of many thoughts, they still have a hormone that makes them very aggressive, both mentally and physically, which can explain why they have to steal their technology than to create their own. They look humanoid with the males being stronger, but the females are more acrobatic.
Though they do communicate with words, they also communicate sometimes with primitive sounds such as hisses, clicks, growls,
Planet of Origin: Valaya - A planet far towards the outskirts of the universe where the insect dwellers inhabit, it is mostly a woodsy planet with a few rivers, lakes, and underground springs providing the much needed water to the planet. There are no oceans, but there are many interconnected rivers to make up for it, providing water like a natural irrigation system. From space, the planet is a dark green, with shimmer lights seen from the distance, as the insects have built their homes among the trees, though some are on the ground.
The reason for this. is the planet's ground is just dark, save a few strips of the sun, that the planet orbits around, shining on the ground, and there are many noises heard down below which belong to carnivorous beasts lurking among the floor that feed upon those who dwell above. On the subject of diets, their diets usually consists of smaller insects that live there.
Occupation: Technological Scavenger/Thief
Physical Description:
I have no picture for her, so I will just describe her in a bit more detail:
Sundosia stands at a whopping 7 foot because of her long and strong legs, though she looks smaller because she looks like she is crouching, even when she runs, but when she walks she stands upright, showing her full height. A black exoskeleton surrounds her and her eyes glow a bright yellow, there are no pupils visible or irises or anything, just a glow, she has the head of a praying mantis, and wings upon her back which she uses to try to make herself appear larger. Upon her mantis shaped head. Her eyes are not bulging out, but rather centered and small, no bigger than a human's eyes; they are not oval shaped, but rather round, like two holes pecked into the middle of her head. Upon her mouth are two mandibles and a small bottom portion of her mouth, that only covers the inside. Three talons and opposible thumbs are attached to her scrawny arm, and two talons serve as toes for her feet.
The exoskeleton gives off a rather small build, her legs are disproportionate to her body, which is typical of most females of her species. They allow for faster running and to jump to higher places, but the upper part of her body is a little weaker to compensate. Her legs themselves are often bent at the knees, making her appear as though she is in a crouching position, looking almost like a natural spring-board, for running and pouncing and jumping and the like. Often, she has a standard laser pistol attached to her hips and wrist-blades made out of a strange yellow metal, it is not impenetrable, but it does enough for self-defense. Strapped to chest is a device that allows her to blend in with where ever she is at. If she is on Earth, she will appear to everyone else to be a human, this goes more with the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' analogy and makes her even more untrustworthy.
Personality:
Here is the fun part, Sundosia is brash, abrasive, arrogant, and very selfish. She is approachable, for the most part, though she snaps at anyone who does speak to her, unless they obviously have something she wants. Always be wary around her, for she is always out to fulfill her own needs. There are times, where she has no current needs or wants, and will be more docile and approachable, but as soon as someone has something she wants, she will not be afraid to try to crush anyone beneath her in order to obtain it.
Sundosia is clever, this, marked off with a vicious temper, makes her for a force not to be tampered with. She is subtle about her temper, not taking to yelling but her tone often grows darker when she is angry. She is the sort of person that everyone loves to hate, though there are a few that are quite amused by her barks, since she is all bark and no bite. Once someone has her respect, she can often be quite docile, and she shares her loyalties to few, if she ever becomes loyal at all. Often, she will only obey someone superior if it means saving her own skin.
She certainly has a mind of her own, a strong-will, and a great sense of independence. She hates feeling bound or held down by any means, though she will sometimes do it if it means possibly saving her own life, but will get out of it at the first sign she can. What makes Sundosia not completely evil or chaotic evil, is the fact that she has no want or desire for destruction and killing unless it somehow has some benefit for her, but other than that, she is much like the disgruntled old lady that everyone sees as no threat, until she pulls a gun out on them, she does have her moments of when she means business.
One of her best strengths, and her greatest weakness, is her unsatisfiable curiosity. The reasons he often goes here and there in time and space is because she wants to see everything. Though because of the things she has learned through her findings, she has become quite intelligent, she always weighs the risks verses rewards when attempting something, if possible. Under pressure, she is very good and is still able to gather her thoughts and make split-second decisions, though they are not always the right ones. She tends to be a little paranoid, perhaps mentally unstable, even going so far as to looking for hiding points or exits should things somehow turn sour and distrusts many people, mainly because there is always a chance she could stab them in the back, or stab her in the back.
History:
She was hatched to a mother and father on the planet Valia, they were paired for life in a monogamous relationship. When she was walking, she was put into an educational system that was meant for the Valia, and it was there she was trained as both a thief and someone to decode the technology. It was here she was fascinated by how things worked, what made machines click, how time travel had become possible in part to stolen technology, it was here she just learned all that she could be taught, well, not to say she knows everything, but she knows everything they know.
Her childhood was nothing eventful, and neither was her adolescence, nor was entering young adult-hood or adult-hood. This is not to say that it was perfect, but there was just nothing that happened worth mentioning. She grew up under instructors and then when she had completed her education, she stole one of the ships one night and took off. The universe awaited her, and it was beckoning like the call of a long-lost love, the stars sparkling like hidden treasures, waiting to be found and she had to go and see it.
She found the ship she stole has a perspection filter but has no camouflage filter, it has a holding cell for prisoners, and a medical kit with some healing items. It has two guns at the front for self-defense, and is not that big in size, a small to medium-sized ship, meant for those trying to come in relatively unnoticed.
Sundosia also found the device she has works by scanning for a sentient or the most dominant life-forms and then casting the image of them over her. The illusion is strong, and even if someone should touch her, they would feel flesh or scales or what they need to feel in order to not break the illusion, unfortunately, it has no translation programing, and no input of cultural knowledge, which means that when she comes to a planet, she has no knowledge of the language and culture of those who dwell there. She can save image if she so chooses, and use it again somewhere else.
