Okay, so some of you may remember the poll I put up, asking what to draw on my shoes. Well, I blatantly ignored the results and drew daleks all over a pair. (Yeah, let's just count this as the 'Doctor Who' pair.)
Want to see pictures?
Ignore the fact that my room is messy and that the background changes at one stage - that was one of the first photos and I realized the lighting was terrible, so I moved. Also, ignore the nerd behind the shoes. c:
What do you guys think? Any tips?

Thank you, m'dear! I can assure you that they're much awesomer in real life. My webcam sort of sharpened the image, so that you can't see the fuzzy details and the orange.
And alas, I have ruined my air of mystery. c;

Those are cool! like Daniel said, better than I could do for serious! I think the only thing I could think of that would be them even better would be to use a darker shoe or paint a darker background on the shoe, whether it be space themed or what have you, to put more contrast between everything.

Do want. Those are great! Did you use waterproof markers? If so, please wear them outside! I love this kind of arty stuff especially when it's Doctor Who related.

Elizabeth -- Oh, come now. c: I'm sure you could do something four times better. These weren't necessarily the greatest work I've done. But thank you very much for the compliment!
About the background. I was considering painting them blue, but I wanted to keep it white so that the colour stood out as it does now. They need a bit more work (like more quotes and stars and stuff), so I'm not completely finished yet.
The Mentalist -- Thank you muchly for the compliments! You make me feel happy. c:
I used normal Sharpies, so I don't think they'd last very long in water... especially on a white background. They will work well outside when it's dry though, so I'll definitely be wearing them. I plan on wearing them tomorrow to my university course, depending on how the weather is.
Also, and this is probably a general note - I plan on buying more plain shoes and drawing stuff on them... then I'm going to sell them and ship them out. Eventually. But, as previously mentioned, I only use normal Sharpies, so they'll run in heavy water.
