Mickey truly missed seeing Rose. Currently he was in the car repair shop, pumping a tire. He listened every moment, but nothing came. A frown darkened Mickey's face, but he kept working. He glanced outside, yet no Police Call Box was appearing. His head turned downwards, and Mickey realized he had pumped the tire to its limit. He rolled it to the side and grabbed another, pumping air into it. Mickey wouldn't admit it, but he was also kinda eager to see the Doctor again, joking about the strangest things. He smiled, remembering the way Rose would laugh, then shook it away, knowing if he got his hopes too high, the fall would be painful.

The TARDIS landed neatly in its regular place next to the Powel Estate. Five seconds after the noise had ceased, Rose Tyler stepped out of the ship and onto solid concrete. Tossing her bleached blonde hair out of her face, she looked up at the four stories of flats towering above her and smiled. It was good to be home. She loved traveling, but every once in a while she had a yearning for home, for a cup of her mum's tea, for Mickey's warm smile and puppy dog eyes...ok maybe the washing machine in the TARDIS had broken down and she'd needed to use her mum's...but she had missed home as well.

[Y'know, it's set around the time when Rose first left. Anyways, I'm new to the job!]
Then Mickey heard something. A strange sound to most, and useless. But not to him, "Turn it off!" He hissed to Dick, who was closest to the radio. Dick quickly turned it off, and Mickey listened again, more focused this time. He really heard the TARDIS!
Mickey dropped the pump he was holding and ran as fast as he could towards the sound, soon seeing a blue box and a familiar girl standing right next to it.
He smiled, a tear coming to his right eye, and he ran even faster, stopping just about two feet from Rose, "R-Rose?" He asked shakily, though he already knew it was her.

((OOC: it needs to be after the Aliens of London/World War Three two-parter, because it was then that the Doctor dropped Rose off 1 year later and canon says no one had seen her before then. So after those two episodes at some point. So Mickey's seen her since she left that first time, ect.))
Hearing hurried footsteps, Rose turned to find Mickey running towards her and smiled.
"R-Rose?" He asked shakily
"Hi Mickey!" Rose said, both a tiny bit amused at his reaction to seeing her and a bit guilty for leaving him behind. "Doctor 'n I thought we'd stop by for a visit..." Feeling more guilty as he looked at her, she pulled him into a hug. "How've you been?"
