Physical Description: The first thing most would notice about this man, is his height. He stands at a freakishly large seven foot one, and thanks to modern medical advances, has stopped growing. One might then notice his hair, a light brown color, kept relatively close cropped to his head, and is typically an unruly mess. Blue eyes, almost to a point of being a gray color, set themselves under slightly thicker than normal eyebrows. Typically, his face can be seen with some form of facial hair, whether it be a fuzz on his face, or an unruly beard. All this gives way to a roguishly handsome face.
Lucky as he was, Nikola didn't suffer as many adverse physical effects from his gigantism. Broad shoulders lead down to arms which are long, even for his height, reaching down to just above his kneecaps. His chest is barreled a bit more than what would be considered normal, though certainly not the first thing that most would notice on his body. Typically, he can be seen wearing a large, warm coat, with much lighter clothes underneath. Shoes are rarely worn on the giant feet of the man, though are most often carried in the large pack that he carries on his back.
Personality: People who have met him personally would define the man as "A gentle giant." He makes the attempt to be kind to everyone, and tries to be on everybody's side. This behavior, however, has earned him just as much hate as it has friends. He makes the attempt to act the gentleman to both men and women alike, especially upon first meeting. As he becomes more familiar with people, he tends to become more friendly with them. The few people he has gotten very close to, he has tended to refer to as 'brother' or 'sister.'
Nikola is not easily angered, though when he is, it is a surprising transformation from his usual 'Gentle Giant' persona to a person filled with rage. That being, he does not hold grudges most of the time, and in general is a forgiving person. He tends to be rather hard on himself, though quick to praise others in their success, or support them in failure. He is extremely reckless with his own life in certain situations, to a point where he would rather be beat up than fight back. Through all this, though, if someone he cared for was in danger, he would not hesitate to step in.
History: Nikola Eberhardt was born to a German family, that rarely actually visited Germany. His parents had been members of a traveling circus, with all the accoutrements from freakshows to firebreathers. So, it was rather fitting that the son of two of them would be born as the freak of nature he was. The setting he was born in couldn't have been a better place to be accepted for who he was, and for a time, this was good.
He learned everything he could, he could tightrope walk, he could breath fire, and he ended up becoming a big part of the show. He rather enjoyed the life of showbiz, and had planned to work with it until the day he died, or retired. Though, retirement did come quite a bit early for the young man. He had fallen from a trapeze, one day, and nearly died from a collapsed lung. In this process, through this, Nikola's life flashed before his eyes, and he realized something. He knew very little of what life was like outside of the circus.
With this in mind, and several teary goodbyes later, he took his leave from the circus life, and started his world travels. Nikola currently has no permanent residence, and does everything from odd-jobs, to street performing to make money.
Additional medical information Nikola suffers from a rare thing known as pituitary gigantism. Many people with this condition suffer from lifelong lung and bone problems, but for unknown miracles, Nikola got away with weaker bones. This was originally caused by a tumor in his brain, but has been removed, and thus he has stopped growing.
