I apologize to everyone, but it would seem I can't find the motivation to post. It's not that I can't write - heaven knows I've been working on other projects - it's the fact that I can't find the words to write for Jack or Gylfie.
I'd much rather leave everyone hanging for the rest of the week than submit a horrible piece of work. It'd forever be on my conscience.
You may or may not have noticed my mention of other projects. I've joined an MSN roleplay as Ianto and I recently wrote a piece from Ianto's point of view, outlining his dislike for children. I do love me some Ianto Jones, I must admit. In my current mood, I'm finding him easier to write for. I also made this website with my best friend, but I don't want to get in trouble for "advertising" it.
And yeah. I won't be posting for a few days because I can't muster the motivation. I apologize.

Thanks for letting us know, Gylfie. It seems that a lot of people are busy or finding it hard to post right now. I haven't heard from Eight or Sage or several others in a while. The site will be here for as long as I can run this place. However, if you are taking an extended break, please let me know..which you are doing  I wish others would as well. I'm trying to get us more rpers here so that this place is more alive when I'm at my internship site or when others who have been active are busy. I'm trying my best. I have about a fourth of my list yet to go with affiliation requests. Once I have finished that, I will go back to advertising as I had before. I really don't know what else to do to make this site more attractive to people. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. It could just be the time of year -- end of winter/early spring for most...and for others it's almost the end of summer/early fall. Spring is a very busy time for people -- award ceremonies, graduations, papers, exams, events, other stuff. Maybe by summer people will have more time/motivation to post. I don't want to close this site down...and there are still several of us who are active, and I hope there will always be active posters here. Even if someone goes inactive, they are always welcome back on the site. I probably won't delete any more accounts unless someone specifically asks me to delete their account(s). |

that stinks...he just got over being sick  Well, tell him I hope he feels better. Until he comes back, his threads will be put on hold. Then, when he comes back we can continue where we left off. I'm afraid we're losing people because of others being gone and sick and because of me being at my internship site. I want to make sure we have some active threads going on where everyone who is here can post. In fact, I'm pretty sure that we've lost at least one person Maybe more I suppose I should take a more active role in making sure that people have at least one thread to reply to where they are not tethered to someone who hasn't posted in over a week. That's something new that I"m going to try to do. |
