Flynn Delta (Flynn because i am a tron fan Delta because the doctor's nickname in the time lord academy was Theta Sigma and i thought this up as a way to pay respect to the doctor)

Age time lord version of a 17 year old

Occupation:new student possible friend to the (young) doctor

Physical Description:Blond hair usually wears a blue suit jacket with a Grey sweater vest underneath he wears blue pants that matches his jacket or wears a white shirt with suspenders and a red bow-tie with black pants Personality: tends to be quiet around people who he doesn't know but will speak up if he or his family and/or friends is threatened he is very loyal if you earn his trust and respect and friendship, does not judge people he firmly believes in second chances and that people can change
History:son of a member of the high council, 15 teen year old time lord Flynn Delta was raised on the principles of neutrality and non-interference , but he could never stand by and watch innocents die. his father expects him to follow him in his footsteps and join the council when he graduates from the academy, but Flynn wishes to travel the stars and save planets and lives. Flynn (against his own wishes) has been advanced in to the upper grades of the academy not because he has advanced skills or intelligence but because of his father's position on the council.Flynn has never had a friend who hasn't tried to use him to get to his father, and because of this Flynn has become a bit of a loner until he met the doctor.

accepted -- but there is no such thing as a new student. All the children went through the initiation ceremony when they were 8 and then entered the Academy. There should be no switching schools or suddenly gaining access to the Academy at another age.

would it be ok if my character started as a 15 year old time lord?

Well, that would mean that they had already gone through the kids camp, the initiation ceremony and would be in a younger year than The Doctor, Tyler, The Master etc. But if it that's okay, then I don't see why not. I have no objections.

Clear it with Ten first though....

That would be all right....but your character would be two years younger than most of the other characters. He also would not be able to be in the same grade -- he would be two grades behind. This doesn't mean that they couldn't see each other in the halls or at lunch....or after school. They just wouldn't be in many classes together unless the classes were open to students from various years.

i think i'll actually make him 17 instead. that way it will be a bit more of a challenge which would probably help my role-playing skills and get me out of my comfort zone, that way i'm not limited to just one kind of character type
