Most of you will know by now that Queensland, Australia is flooding. It's absolutely tragic! First there were the floods and then they were hit by Cyclone Yasi - one of the biggest cyclones ever to hit Australia.
Now, due to all of the weather disturbances, Victoria is also receiving a large amount of rain and, in turn, flooding. Including me. I currently live directly off a river! That's how bad my street is! There's thunder, lightning and rain galore.
I'm sure it won't get too bad - the occasional interior leak here and there, no road access for a few days, etc - but at some stage, the power will go out. This could last for an hour or two... or four. I don't know.
Anyway, during that downtime, I won't be able to post. My wireless will be dead.
I apologize for this future lack of posting, especially in the threads that currently need Jack and Gylfie to post. If you think that Gylfie or Jack should post before your character, then leave the thread and send me a personal message, so that I remember to check it out.
Oh, but hey! Here's hoping that my school floods! c:

Ah, well, the floodwater seems to have gone through the gutters now, so my streets cleared. I'm pretty sure the flooding has stopped, but it's still raining, so there's still the possibility that my power might be cut.
According to my television, tomorrow is supposed to be worse.

I don't plan on drowning, Sageypoo. I don't plan on going anywhere near the water! c:
I live right next to a school, so who knows how many unmentionables will be in the water. Syringes, dog poop, birth control strategies, etc.

I seriously hope that my school is flooded.
School starts on Monday for me and I had tons of homework I was supposed to do. I didn't finish (or start) any of it. Mostly because I don't have any of the textbooks or motivation.
God, I really hope school's been cancelled.
The funny thing is, my friend who I mentioned earlier (the one that likes Spain, men, soccer and coffee) actually sat down for a while to pray that our school got flooded. She's not religious, but obviously someone up there thought it'd be a good idea to listen.
Maybe it was the fairies.

Ask anyone you can, Owen. I don't want to go back to school tomorrow. I'd rather stay here all day, talking to all of you awesome people.
