 What was Dumbledore's favorite excuse for Voldemort? He never knew love, right? Well let's imagine for a moment: what if he did? What if Tom Marvolo Riddle knew what love was? Would he still be the Dark Wizard Harry Potter just defeated? Would he be different?
Harry Potter finds out when he stumbles through the Mirror of Erised after the Battle for Hogwarts. He is taken to that alternate dimension, where Tom Riddle was kept by his mother. Hogwarts is very different and so are the people he thought he knew so well, including himself! Imagine Harry Potter without a scar! Well, he is knocked out by Mirror- Potter, and is put in the Mirror's hospital wing.
Mirror-Potter is stunned by the fact that there is a boy who looks just like him, but is all scruffy and dirty like he had just been in a duel. Mirror-Dumbledore (who is alive in this world, being that there was no reason or motivation for his murder) tries to give his best explanation as to how this could have happened.
