River, in her ever long search for the Doctor, took out her vortex manipulator to detect the Doctor's TARDIS. She had stolen a sonic screwdriver from a place that sold them on some planet that she couldn't bother to remember the name of. It didn't matter. She had her sonic screwdriver, which she would try to get the Doctor into thinking that he gave her.
She had already fallen in love with one Time Lord, but it hadn't been the Doctor. However, she took great pleasure in trying to get the Doctor to think that she would fall for him one day.
She did admire and "love" the Doctor. Too bad it wasn't two ways. Oh well, she had a plan to try to get the Doctor to fall for her. That was all that mattered to her now. Perhaps she could change the future?
Not knowing exactly when or where she would see the Doctor, she searched every planet that she knew of for a blue box. It didn't take her long to locate one on an alien world. She wasn't even sure what planet she was on. However, she had found the Doctor, and that was enough.
Strutting along, she looked for the face of the Tenth Doctor....the one that she knew. She had knowledge of regeneration, but hadn't considered that it might be another Doctor that she would run into.
"Where is he?" she asked out loud. The TARDIS was there, but she didn't see a familiar face anywhere.
(you all know how much I hate River Song. Snicker....yes another River killing thread)

"Where is he?"
Six's ears picked up the sound. He huffed and ran a hand through his blond curls, trying to figure out who could have found him. He had been trying to go on vacation - one that consisted of trying to fix the chameleon circuit. He had dropped Peri off on Earth so she could do her botany master's thesis; she had taken an alien plant and was comparing it to the anatomy of an Earth plant. It was something that the Doctor wasn't quite interested in - perhaps because he had heard Peri complain and whine about it for much too long.
His thoughts returned to the matter at hand. His hopeful side suggested that perhaps the woman outside was talking about someone else. His pessimistic side pointed out that he had materialized in the middle of a barren planet. Whomever was out there was looking for him. He stood up and patted the console. "I could just go away without checking to see who it is," he suggested.
However, his helpful side won out. It was doing that irritatingly often as of late. He trudged towards the door and burst open the TARDIS door. He stored the face of the woman in his mind, trying to run it against others that he knew. Unable to do so, he decided that he had never met her before.
"Can I help you?" he asked icily.
[ooc| I'm too lazy to change to Six's account. >.> Sorry.]

River, completely expecting to see another man's face, made face of disgust at Six.
"I was looking for the Doctor," she replied in an annoyed tone. "But I see that he has decided to have a rather plump man dressed strangely as his companion. It is a shame, really...but you won't be able to stay with us on....our wedding night." She flashed the man a smile. "I would have thought the Doctor would have learned his lessen by choosing someone with a little more style....but I'm here now."
Hoping that she had fooled this man into believing that she was the Doctor's future wife, her intent was to gain access to the man himself.

He raised his eyebrows at the look on her face, contemplating slamming the door shut in her face. "Careful," he advised, "your face may freeze like that." He was silent for a quiet moment, and then a small, wicked smile flickered on his face. "Can't say that it wouldn't be an improvement though," he mused.
I see that he has decided to have a rather plump man dessed strangely as his companion.
Six looked around for such a man, and, not finding one, turned back to the woman. "Wedding night?" he asked, choking back a laugh. "My dear girl, I know I'm handsome but you simply can't pretend to be engaged to me. Oh, what fantasies you women come up with," he chuckled, wiping back an amused tear.
"I didn't catch your name."
