Blast from the future (OPEN, Ianto)

All was quiet in Cardiff for once. The night was dark and most people were in their houses as the clock struck 12am. The moon was barely a sliver as it hung in the sky, pretending that it wasn't circling around the Earth and regulating its tides with the planet's sun.

It was in this moment, beside the artificial waterfall near the Millennium Center that Amelia appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. The wind blew through her red hair and she smiled up at the waterfall. This was the real home of humans. The original Earth. She had traveled back more than 4 billion years to this place with help of the steel saved and preserved in a museum. Sure it took some fancy work to get to even see the real artifact, let alone get close enough to touch it, but she had a talent for being able to do what others would term as impossible.

She looked over at her shoulder, grinning at the Welsh writing on the building. Yes, she got this right, and she would find the man she knew... the man that would know her in a few years.

((She's my character for an AU Children of Earth. The events haven't changed except that Amelia (link to her character sheet will be placed here) came in and pulled Ianto out, replacing him with a dead doppleganger, and taking him to her time to maintain a circular paradox. How she did this is further explained in her page. And she's going to try to find Ianto to see what he was like before she first met him. He should not remember her, it's kinds like River Song/11 when it comes to timelines.))
