Sage and I were having a very interesting discussion about what fears the Doctor may have or may have. (This started when I was trying to see just where the 8th had met Susan before. The entry mentioned him being afraid of heights! Huh?)
I know the Third Doctor didn't like fire, seeing how an alternate version of Earth was destroyed by being burnt up. The Ten seemed to have expressed not liking being alone (probably because the Eighth died alone, becoming the Ninth.)
What sort of fears do you think which version would have and why?

I think from the end of the 4th doctors incarnation forwards, he would have been afraid of heights.

As for the fear topic, I think the First was afraid of death. >:/
He seemed like he'd do anything to save his own skin. I love him anyway. x3

Six... hm. I don't think he was mentally stable enough to fear anything. XD
There was an episode with a torture chamber and he was just all, "B] I'm the Doctor."
 Kidding. He was afraid of becoming the Valeyard.
And dogs.

I just remembered when the Eighth said he was afraid of heights. It was when he and Grace were escaping from the New Year's party and about to slide down the fire hose. He asked Grace if she was afraid of heights. She answered 'Yes' and he replied but in a quick lower tone 'So am I'. I'll watch the tape tonight to be sure but I think that's it.
Dogs? After K-9?

Eh, not really.
He just loved cats so much (funny because Ten doesn't like them ) I figured he'd at least not like dogs.
Also, if we go with the fear of what previously killed them..
The Doctor is afraid of some weird things. x3
That'd mean that Six was afraid of Peri (Aha! That's why he tried to kill her! ) (all right, so Peri didn't really CAUSE his death...) (but if she hadn't been there he wouldn't have had to sacrifice his life for her. BAM.)
XD Ten would've been afraid of Rose. (or the TARDIS.) (...he wouldn't have died if there wasn't a Rose to absorb it from.) (...hmph.)[/font]
