((Oops, sorry about that.))
The Doctor attention wandered slightly, as it often did, moving from Tyler to Clara and back again as they talked, then changing to look at the area around him. He didn't recognize it either, as he usually managed to get in trouble immediately after landing- or crashing- his TARDIS. This made it hard for him to go sightseeing, though he took a lot of pleasure in searching through museums. It was how he kept track.
He didn't miss Tyler's impatience, and almost frowned as he asked which way it was again. The Doctor gestured vaguely. "I thought," he said, "you humans had something- I dunno what- that, like, found things for you. A map, isn't it? Something like that. Don't you- we- have one?" He patted down his pockets, looking both a little annoyed and pleased for thinking of the idea.

Clara looked at the Doctor and smiled. "That's a good idea."
James frowned again at how the Doctor came up with the good idea again. He knew he could have thought of that as well, if he had more time. He looked around, spotting a tourist stall. "How about we just buy one?"

Tyler glanced back at the Doctor, slightly embarrassed. "Um....I never thought I would need a map of my own hometown."
He fished around in his pocket for his wallet. Finally finding it, he pulled it out. "I guess I can buy it since it's my house we're looking for. "
Tyler ran over to the tourist shop that ha been pointed out to him, buying a map of the city. Once he had it in hand, he ran back over to the group. "Here we go..."

"Alright, if I remember addressing correctly... Tyler, could I see that map?" Clara said, looking to Tyler. She held the address in her hands.
James watched her, sticking close to her.

Tyler nodded at Clara, offering the map to her. "Sure...I'm rubbish at reading maps anyway."
Tyler watched Clara as well. He'd never been very good with directions, always finding himself lost when he was going somewhere that he wasn't familiar with. Maps only confused him more.
He glanced at James, wondering if the man would snap at him again soon.

James had calmed down quite a bit in regards to Tyler. When it came to the Doctor, however, he was still nervous.
Clara looked at the map carefully, locating the approximate location of the address. She then looked u and around. "And where are we now?"

Tyler glanced back at the antique shop.
"Just outside of that antique shop....let me see if I can see the address......1013 is the address number....but I don't know what street we're on...."
He glanced back at the Doctor -- still slightly nervous about all of them.

While Tyler was in the process of purchasing the map, the Doctor was hardly interested. His attention had begun to wander again. But, as soon as the others were in possession of the map, he took a great deal of interest in it. Rarely had he ever had a chance to see a real, human map, and he peered over Clara's shoulder, interested.
"I can't help you read it," he started. "I can't even tell you what these things mean. What do they mean? These red lines here-" The Doctor traced a few lines labeled with road names. "-what are they? And these symbols? You humans really are remarkable creatures; no one else has maps like these, eh? So confusing."

"Doctor, honestly, how did you survive all this time?" The General said, reading the map, "I think we go straight ahead, onwards, you know, a GPS would be handy right about now, ahhh, anyway."
But there was something the General couldn't shake, he felt like he was being watched, he ignored this thought, and continued on.

Clara looked at the Doctor. "Those are roads, Doctor." She rolled her eyes. "You'd think you just wandered around without even glancing at a road sign or map."
James smirked as he went to look for a street sign.

Tyler glanced at the Doctor in surprise, "Wait...you don't know what roads are? Or streets?"
He frowned. "Even I know that much....it's just hard for me to figure out how to read it -- as far as how I'm supposed to go from one spot to the next.....I just get all turned around...even when viewing a map. GPS' don't hep me either."
"Are we the only planet with streets?"

"No, but you have quite complicated maps, most societies by now would have evolved teleporting systems, go down the next left road," The General said.

Tyler turned to the General and asked, "Are you calling us primitive?"
However, he followed the General's directions, going down the next left road that they came upon. He glanced at Clara and the Doctor to see whether or not they were keeping up. Feeling slightly insulted by these Time Lords, he continued on, wishing that he had a human friend that he could talk to. He didn't want to risk talking to James again and upsetting him.

James sighed and followed as Clara followed the map. Perhaps he doesn't know what he's saying can be taken as rude, he thought to himself. If he knew, maybe he wouldn't get so upset with the others.
Clara glanced at the map, then back up, trying to bring back her very old memories of London. "London has changed so much since I was here."

"London is now 10 billion strong, soon it will be its own country, one of the most busy cities on Earth, so the question is, where is everyone?" The General said.
