I thought it was a great episode! I'm having trouble gathering my thoughts at the moment, so i'll interject them later on. What did you all think?

I thought it was pretty awesome, Matt Smith is still doing a very good job as the Doctor. I don't think I can hate a Doctor, but I do love them for different reasons. Matt just has that old Doctor-like thing going on and is adorable and cool at the same time. Is good to see the fez again.

Dumbledore(yes I'm calling him that) was brilliant in the episode and so wa sthe actress for her first role as an actress. The scenes with the little boy wre also good, Matt just works well we children.

The trailer for season 6 also rocks! Doctor we beard = must see!

Yes yes, all around good. I just love how the Matt Smith's Doctor keeps rambling on and on and on. Also, if you notice how this new style also gives us a peek into how his mind works, it's funny how much like Sherlock Holmes it is. The whole chair turned away from the picture and that sort of thing. Also, there are plenty more "timey-wimey" episodes. I love them, and I love Moffat for them.

Yes the trailer was cool too. One of my RP pals said, whether for comedy or she genuinely believed it, that she River has to be Jack. I honestly don't think so, but her theories are entertaining.

I actually quite liked it. Wasn't sure if I would, but Matt did a good job with his first Christmas special. Whole family loved it. Some even got involved in guessing what would happen next.

JEEZ! Lots of writing to follow.

Matt was brilliant. His doctor is very quircky and this did show through in the episode, bow tie and all. (Yes, the bit about the bow tie being cool did make me smile.)

Micheal Gambon did very well! Wasn't sure what to expect with him. I thought it might be a bit Dumbeldore-esque, but to me, it wasn't at all. He really got me believing in his scroogy character and all his versions were a joy to watch. They also touched on a rather sensitive subject with him but they did it welll. Very enjoyable.

Katherine Jenkins was okay. Liked her character but not a fan of the singing. Her performance as an actress was good but I was not keen onthe singing. Saying that, more acting please!

And now to some random comments on the plot.

I really liked the fish. For some odd reason, I liked the fish, even though in the big picture they weren't too important. Swimming around in fog is such a nifty thing. And heck, who doesn't want to ride in a shark draw carriage?

The last day between Kazran & Abigail bit was a tiny tearjerker. A few really good lines concerning that situation, quite haunting... and a lovely last scene. ;D

The minimal inclusion of Amy and Rory was good. I much prefer it without them, as nasty as that sounds. Prefer just 11 on his own. This episode also shows that Matt can hold his own without them too, which is good.

TO SERIES 6! Trailer.
1. ugh. River's back. Nasty. 'Nuff said.
2. Cowboy hats are good.
3. Did I see an SS member in there somewhere? I'm sure I saw a solider-like person with a logo much like theirs on it. The Doctor vs. Hitler, this could be interesting.
4. President Doctor is win. With his jammy dodgers and all. *thumbs up*
6. Creepy doll things. ew.
7. I'd like another Time Lord in there somewhere. It better not be River.

Looks like it'll be a good series. ;D
