Since I'd really like to get the pirate thread started, I guess I'll put in for this:)
Canon/Original: (Should add one more catagory. Real Person?: heh) Original I guess
Name: Edward Teach, Edward Thatch, better known as Blackbeard!
Age: Probably in his early 30's. Pirates really don't live very long!
Species: Human
Planet of Origin: Earth
Occupation: Pirate Captain of the Queen Anne's Revenge!!!
Physical Description: He was quite a frightening sight, 6 feet 5, and with a heavy build. His huge black beard which gave him his name was very noticable, especially when he tied cannon fuses into it and lit them, giving him a smoldering (and most likely demonic) vision to his foes. He wore a huge crimson coat and most likely the usual buccaneer pants with belt and high boots.
Personality: While he was a terror to his enemies it was said he hated to frighten women and was reputed to be somewhat gentle with them. (That didn't count with the wenches at the shores though!) He was very intelligent when it came to battle and he knew the coastlines of his haunts like the back of his hands. His crew were very loyal to him and he had ways of dealing with the ones that weren't. (And not pleasent ways either.)
History: Blackbeard actually only had a short time as a pirate, just from 1716 to 1718 when he was killed by Lt maynard. (He had been struck by 20 pistol balls and sliced by swords over a dozen times before he fell! Tough guy!)
Additional medical information: As most pirates he drank a great deal but he most likely feared the problems of tropical diseases and infections as were common back then.
