Physical Description:
Owen is handsome and he knows it. Owen has dark brown eyes but one person called him a rodent. Not pointing any fingers here, mind you. Psst! - it was Toshiko! Owen has a wiry frame and he is short for a male (5’9”) and he has a light frame and he is not like a girl. Honest, Gwen! Owen’s skin is paler than your average Western European. (It might because he is walking DEAD) Owen favors in wearing faded blue jeans, especially worn ones, black shoes and they got laces not Velcro. For shirts he can be seen wearing sleeveless tee shirts and he like long sleeves. And we can’t not forget Owen’s white lab coat he wears around Torchwood with his pins of awards and some off shoot pins.
Personality:
Owen Harper is not a happy camper and Owen hates camping! I could make a list what Owen likes because it is shorter list. Owen can be a wise, oops can’t say it. Let’s say he uses his mouth in very colourful way. Owen tends to beat himself emotional when he fails, especially when it comes saving someone’s life. It’s worse now because he can’t save someone with his breathe, oh he can’t breath. To top it off, he died and Jack Harkness had brought him back. So, this makes Owen see life different. Owen’s perspective on life is all lot different.
Owen hate being dead. He misses out on his favourite three things…Drinking, sleeping and sex. Those are his favourite things. He even likes apples and bread. But he hates green grapes. Owen knew Captain Jack Harkness was making a point Owen was being SOUR with green grapes. Ha ha ha very funny Captain Jack Harkness.
So, the man can’t sleep he does all lot of thinking. I mean all lot. He starting to get poetic, I did not mention Owen likes poetry. Having more time on his hands Owen thoughts can titter. There are days he just likes to jump off a tall building. But he learned that is the coward’s way to end it. Knowing what it is like to die and waking up that gives Owen more compassion on trying to help people.
For instance he was walking in a park, he talked to a man who was drinking too much and the bum was depressed. Owen talked to the man that there is more in life. But the man blew his brains out any ways.
What you expected to have a happy ending?
Well Owen will tell you that’s life. It’s a cruel. It’s like riding on a wild beast, hold on tight because it is going to be on bumpy ride. If you fall off. Well get back on that wild beast! And don’t try to tame it because you lose! Life sucks! But there is more…oh seek Owen and he will tell you.
Owen is not good acting. He is off key.
And Owen loves to do pranks when he can do them and when he is in the mood. Like pulling one Computer tech's computer's plug. He accepts he take half the credit but it was Gwens idea. REALLY it was.
History: Before Owen gone RIP, don’t worry Jack Harkness brought Owen back because Jack was hoping for a miracle.
Owen was born in London to a wonderful mother who seemed had no closeness to her own son. Oh joy is that wonderful! Anyways, his mother was nice enough to give him a birthday party on his 10th birthday. Oh that was the FIRST time she recognize he was her son. It was to show off her new lover that she can be sweet to her son. She was so nice to say I don’t have to like you but I love you.
Later, Owen coped with his mother and his family rotten life. Owen had gone to medical school and got his degree in Medical, and be a doctor. Not the DOCTOR forsakes people! But Owen will say he is brilliant! He was devoted student and stubborn. He was determined to be the best and be not like his mum. He had dated Katie and they had been an item. Owen was happy in those days. It was true love! It was a meaning in his life, for Owen to have a wife, have a few kids, kid’s pets, a house, a car, and being a working doctor. It was Owen’s dream. Katie and Owen got engage, and Katie died from an alien in her brain.
In short time, Owen was visiting Katie’s grave. Owen saw Captain Jack Harkness and beat the crap out of Jack’s face. After a good anger management, Jack invited Owen to be part of his Torchwood. Owen accepted realizing he had no meaning in his life but to save lives was what he wanted.
So Owen worked for Torchwood, saved aliens and humans, did all that Torchwood stuff.
We all know those detail adventures and there were other but we will not go into that.
Owen was shot dead. It was his fault. Did he know he would eventually fail on the ‘You really not going to shoot me’ but his luck ran out! The humour of it all was this, it was a collogue doctor that Owen looked up to for research. Ka-BAM! So Owen died. Torchwood gets all sad and cries over Owen’s dead body Wah wah wah poor team! And Owen thought nobody would cry over his dead body.
QUICK! Let cut him up and see how he dies! But no Jack Harkness rushes to get the gauntlet to bring Owen back. Oh no here we go again but no it was different. Quick story Owen literally beats death! How many people you know beat death! I don’t!
So defeating death Owen was watched over. No, he was assigned to be the tea boy. Owen was not good at it. He could not give the right tea cup to the right person. What you expect the man wanted to be a doctor and serve in the team and not be sitting back because he was fragile.
Owen was clear to be working in the team but he has to be careful. After all he was walking dead. So, that’s Owen’s life…ooops allow me…Owen’s death story so here we go!
Additional medical information: being dead. No heart beat, no blood circulation, no breathing, can't heal and those are perks? And he is the king of the Weevils! He has no physical feeling. He had not body heat. He breaks easy. Hold on where are the perks here! ! ! Oh there is one...Immune to diseases and colds. yay! And immune to poisons and toxic air. Look mum I can walk in London with puking now!
