After a while of just standing and staring at the man (General) he had pinned against the wall, the knife in his pocket clenched tightly in his fist, he scowled at him. He pressed the man against the wall even more, talking to him again, his tone almost venomous.
"What the matter? Don't want to answer my question? Or are you just playing dead. You must think I'm stupid."
The sunlight glinted off the watch on his wrist, drawing his attention to it for one second. Reading the time off of it, 9.46 am, he kept scowling. Something told him that they had to be somewhere at this point, he'd read it on the fridge during a late night binge. As he couldn't remember what it had said, he dismissed it. If he couldn't remember, it didn't concern him.
But the truth was, that the core and his body, had to be at an opening ceremony for the university he was employed at. It was new year, with a good few new professors and he was making the lousiest first impression out of them, being late and all.

The General let go of the handgun and gripped his sonic screwdriver, there was only one light illuminating the alley, and he planned to use that to his advantage, pointing his screwdriver at the light, he pressed the button, there was a shower of sparks, and then, darkness.
The General used this moment to kick the Mentalist in the chest, and so he wouldn't follow him, he pulled out something else, something familiar, a small syringe.
It wasn't as concentrated as last time, but it was enough to knock him out, sticking the needle in his arm, The General had a strange feeling of déjàvu, as he pushed down the plunger.

( ; Sorry if I didn't make it very clear. Those two, despite the age difference, aren't father and daughter. They're a couple and the dad bit from before was meant to be a joke. Sorry if I didn't make that clear!)Douglas grinned at the boy, pleased at his comment. It was good to know that someone would at least try to look after her while she was here. In some ways, she needed constant care, her anger could flare up at any point and it always landed her in trouble. In was her species blood though, they were a very emotional species, by genetics and hormone production. He calmed his grin down a bit before speaking to the boy. "Thank you very much! I would appreciate that very much, that would be a big help. As long as she's kept out of trouble, then that is good."Gunman stared into space, with a displeased look on her face. Douglas could be so embarrassing. She knew his heart was in the right place but he could've put it out there better and not have been so embarrassing. He was starting to act like her dad and she'd not had one of those for a very long time. She turned away from Luke for a second, whispering to the man behind her. "Look, I know you mean well and I'm glad that you're concerned, but there's no need for that much. If I get in trouble, I do and that's that, I'll work my way out like I always do. But you're starting to act like my dad and, well, my dad's been dead for ten years. Remember what we are to each other, yeah? So don't worry..."She gently put her arms round his neck, hugging him and giving him a tiny kiss on the cheek. Douglas was a little upset at what she'd said first, but the hug made it better. His hands naturally slipped to her waist and he hugged her back. "Okay, I'll quit with the worrying, it is kind of getting like that. But you just be careful OK, I want no complaints.Letting go, she smiled at him, flicking her hair playfully. She started to make herself all grand looking and spoke in her best posh voice. "Complaints? I won't have any because princesses don't get complaints."Laughing, he rolled his eyes and smiled good-heartedly. Holding her hand, he spoke to Luke, continuing the joke. "I'd watch this one, she thinks she is a princess."Gunman joked along, folding her arms in fake disgust and talking normally again. "But I am!! Ignore that one, thinks he's a surgeon."Douglas looked furious for a moment, until the line moved and the joke was over. He watched as most of the people in front of them piled into the university and wandered off down the corridors. he rummaged in his pockets for a ticket or pass of sorts, his black suit trousers creasing a little. Following suit, Gunman rummaged in her own jacket pocket and produced a ticket. It just confirmed the time and that she was a student. Looking to Luke, she smiled. "Got yours handy? Looks like we're about to go inside."
