"They're designed not to explode in a chain reaction. They're protected by thick layers of plastic that absorb concussion and have high immunity to heat. Keep up, Correon. "

Coreeon ran to try to catch up with the two other Time Lords. "I'm coming!" he yelled in their general direction.
(things have been crazy the last few days...sorry I haven't replied until now)

"Are the armies ready yet?" the Doctor sighed like a bored child.

Correon glanced at the Doctor, "I should hope that the armies are ready. There is a battle that we will have to fight, army or no army.....I would hope that they would assemble soon....or Gallifrey will be in trouble."

The Doctor nodded once, then turned and walked back to the TARDIS.

(who wants to play the members of the army) Correon called after the Doctor, "And what do you want me to do?"

"Just make sure they don't run away when they see the 'Champions coming," the Doctor replied, stepping inside.

Correon nodded, "Right..."
At that moment several hundred Gallifreyans came into view, most of them being skeptical and rolling their eyes. After all, how could something like metal men be a threat to Gallifrey?

The battlecrusiers hovered over the Karnak fields, and in that instant, it rained soldiers. Ten thousand fell on the fields, and unfolded into their battle positions.

Correon waited nervously for the battle to begin. Not knowing how well Gallifrey's soldiers were trained, he became even more nervous. There had not been a war on Gallifrey for a long time...a very long time. No war had even happened in Correon's life time.

The enormous ships hung over the fields, blocking out the sun. The Cyberchampions seemed to blend into the darkness. Only their lamp-like eyes, seven feet up from the ground, were visible. They marched towards the forces of Gallifrey.

Emmehujiat sighed in frustration. Why did these stupid, primitive machines have to attack Gallifrey? Believing that there was absolutely no chance that the Gallifreyans could lose, he sat in his office comfortably, looking out of his window towards the view below.
The fact that the sun was blocked out was a major annoyance to him. He glared at the cyberchampions down below. They just HAD to interrupt his schedule. This really was the Doctor's fault, afterall. He was certain that the Doctor was the reason that these stupid beings were there.
