A massive hole was ripped in the skies of Gallifrey, and out of it flew seven huge battleships, each carrying several thousand Cyberchampions.

Jed's face grew pale as he saw the darkened sky. Several of the High Council member's faces lost their colors, but one Council member addressed Jed, a certain urgency in the person's voice. "I need you to confirm whether or not the rumors about possible activity on Skaro are true. Go now."
Jed didn't need to be told a second time, bowing before the Council members, he soon rushed out of the room. He had one main thought on his mind -- his wife and daughter. He HAD to protect them. He ran all the way to his house.
Correon looked at the others, "We must defend Gallifrey -- there isn't time to be wasted."
Emmehujiat smirked, "Well, this whole thing seems to be the Doctor's fault. I suggest that he be sent off of Gallifrey to get those inferior machines to follow him. He is putting our entire planet in danger."

"Wow, yes, because they would really peruse one worn-out piece of time-travel technology when they can take the new models and the people who actually KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM here. Who put this clown in charge?"

Emmehujiat's face turned red and screamed at the Doctor, "IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT THEY CAME HERE...ALL YOUR FAULT. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE TIME LORD'S....YOU ALWAYS WERE. So, you think that they are after TARDIS technology....fine."
One of the other High Council members snickered, "TARDIS' aren't made. They are grown. I thought even with your bad genes that you would grasp that. I guess I was wrong."
Emmehujiat and others started snickering.
Emmehujiat yelled again at the Doctor. "How dare you...you/....you....low life.....you had the nerve to call me a clown in front of the rest of the High Council? As punishment, you should lead Gallifrey in its defense!"

"Punishment? Why do you guys follow his man? Surely you didn't elect him? Oh, you actually did. Well, there goes my faith in the high council. I'm going back to the TARDIS, and you lot can clean this up." The Doctor left.

Correon, upset with the way that his fellow Council members were treating the Doctor -- they treated him like this consistently -- got up and left the Council room as well. His intention was to follow the Doctor and reach him before he'd made it to his TARDIS.
Running slighty and seeing the Doctor in the distance, Correon called out, "Doctor!"
He hoped that his old student would hear him and slow down enough so that they could talk. He never understood why Emmehujiat and the others insisted on treating the Doctor in such a horrible way. The only other person that he could think of that they treated like this was Tylerhathan.....

The Doctor stopped at the TARDIS doors, looking around. "Correon."

Correon, noting that the Doctor had acknowledged him, he asked the Doctor, "Do you have some time to talk?"
He really did feel that he needed to apologize to this Time Lord -- one of his favorites. He always tended to favor the ones that other Time Lords generally dismissed. His face lit up as he looked at the Doctor's TARDIS. It had once belonged to Aragorn....and it had chosen the police box shape for its previous owner...but back then the chameleon circuit wasn't stuck like that.
"Still have this TARDIS? It's strange that it would work for you.....couldn't get anyone to work it after....well......it was decommissioned. She's a stubborn one." He smiled affectionately at the TARDIS.

"Maybe it's because no-one here has enough brains to fill a Fluttering's beak. if you'll excuse me Correon, I have to go." And we went into the TARDIS, which began to fade out immediately.

Correon watched the Doctor go, sighing in frustration. "All right then, Doctor," he said out loud after the TARDIS had disappeared. He could understand why the Doctor was upset, but he was slightly disappointed that he had walked out on him. Correon had hoped to talk with the Doctor. Obviously, this wasn't to be the case. He sighed again, and then began to walk in the direction of one of the trails.
"Walking would do me some good...need to clear my head," he said to no one.

The TARDIS engines sounded out again, and the blue police box appeared in the same place. teh Doctor stepped out, wearing a black leather jacket, shoes and slacks with a red jumper. "What? I'm not going to fight an army of Cyberchampions dressed as Wild Bill Hancock. Let's go."

Correon smiled at the Doctor and walked over to him. "Well, I don't know that the cybermen would care how you were dressing.....but .....what ARE you wearing?" he asked, pointing to the leather jacket. It was very different than the Gallifreyan robes that he'd been used to seeing around Gallifrey.
"Earth fashion?" he asked.

"I was going for U-Boat Captain," the Doctor muttered.

Correon asked the Doctor, "What is a U-Boat Captain? Earth terminology, I assume."
Correon smiled at the unconventional Time Lord. "All right then...what's your plan?"
He studied his former student, trying to understand where he was thinking of going or what he wanted to do.

"I need to talk to Emmehudjat and convince him to get his armies--" he stopped. "No, I'll just take charge of them myself. Send the call to arms now."
