"WAIT."
He had rambled, grinned, and ran. Rose didn't budge...
"It was *moved*?" she asked, an incredulous look on her face. "Getting past how they would do that, what exactly are we trying? And why do you seem so happy about it?"

Ten stopped as soon as he heard Rose's command to wait. Looking back at her, he sighed. "Well, it isn't here....so my guess is that it was moved. The TARDIS wouldn't just disappear.....I just want to see.....see if we can find it. I thought I'd seen the TARDIS earlier, but that was before I...met you......and I wasn't exactly sure it was the TARDIS. That's why I want to see if it is...in the place that I thought I saw it....and....well....just thought it was worth investigating."
He purposely did not tell her why he was happy. In reality, he was excited that he might get to show Rose his TARDIS and impress her with his knowledge. He was certain that she would be able to find something of Nine's there.....that was IF the TARDIS hadn't gotten moved. His version of the TARDIS wasn't much different from Nine's. He hadn't even changed the desktop theme or any of the decorations. It was, in reality, pretty much the same TARDiS.

Rose knew nothing about the inner workings of the TARDIS...And to be quite honest she didn't want to at a time like this. All she wanted was to find the Doctor...and if David told her he might have seen it earlier...maybe he did. Maybe he knew where it was.
You have to stop taking steps backward...Rose berated herself. Trust him, because without that, you've not only not got a Doctor or a TARDIS, but nothing to go on...If he knows how to find the Doctor, whether he's with the people...aliens...with whatever took him, or honestly a friend of the Doctor's who wants to help, I'll still be that much closer to the Doctor no matter what...if something goes wrong, I'll figure it out then...
After five seconds or so, her thoughts ended with a solid conclusion.
"Ok..." the blonde let out a breath. "I'm following you." The upwards inflection in her voice indicating she meant to the TARDIS.

Ten grinned and replied, "All right then, come on...." Assuming that Rose would follow this time, he took off after where he had left his own TARDIS.....he began running in that direction once more. He wasn't entirely certain whether or not he would see the TARDIS. Whomever had taken Nine's may very well have detected Ten's. He would know whether or not these people who had taken Nine knew about his existence -- they may not know what he looked like, but they would know that there were two Doctors -- or at least two Time Lords on Earth at the moment...because they would have two TARDIS'. (we can have other enemies besides Spong here......we don't have to have him at all. I just put him in because of the whole Doctor catching thing. And Ten's TARDIS can either be there or it can be gone.. )

(I definitely think the TARDIS should be there. I think the people who kidnapped the Doctor might investigate but maybe they wanted another timecard to come try to rescue the Doctor. Who knows ^_^)
Rose took off after David.
God, he can run, she thought to herself. Almost like running with-
Shaking her head, she focused on keeping up.
After a few blocks they came to the TARDIS...it was sitting right there...how would someone have moved that?! And why here? Rose looked around. This place looked like nothing special.
"How did you know it would be here?" Rose asked, turning to David incredulously.

At the sound of Rose's voice, Ten looked right at her and replied. "I didn't....I didn't know for sure it would be here, however, like I said earlier....I thought I saw it from a distance earlier....and so....well, this was really the only lead that I had."
He could hardly wait to show Rose HIS TARDIS. Fumbling with the key slightly nervously, he inserted it into the lock. Turning it, he pulled it out and opened the door. He only hoped that Rose didn't remember if she had left anything lying about in Nine's TARDIS. Otherwise, it probably wouldn't still be there -- unless it was something that he had overlooked himself. Something small and, well, something that Rose would leave out of its place.
Grinning at her, he rushed inside.

Rose waited for the man to unlock the TARDIS with his key. After all, she had put her trust in him. She wasn't going to bar him entrance.
I hope they haven't done anything to the inside..." Rose worried. ...if they somehow had gotten inside. Rose stopped her pondering where it started as the door opened and David rushed in.
Running in after him, she took a quick inventory, looking around as she walked clockwise around the console. Nothing seemed to be taken. Something did seem to be added though. Coming around the console, she spotted something purple. Rushing up to it, she saw it was one of her shirts...
I didn't leave that there... Rose thought, perplexed. She pushed the thought out of her head quickly, not having the luxury to focus on it and blaming it on her poor memory.
"I'll go get something of the Doctor's from his room," Rose told David, setting off down the hall.

David could only nod as Rose ran off towards his room. Had Rose ever been in his room before? He couldn't quite remember, but one thing was certain, he didn't want her poking around in his stuff. He quickly ran after her.
"Wait...I...." he called out as he finally caught up with her at the entrance to his room.
How had he kept his room when he was Nine? Ten tried to think whether or not he had changed anything around.

The Doctor's room...she hadn't ever been inside. Though he hugged her, shared with her, there was always a wall that cut him off at a certain point. Oh, how she wished he would let her in more...but she knew he had to go step by step...there was no use forcing it. He would just clam up.
She had imagined how his room might look on occasion...she brought that back into her mind as she jogged down the hallway. Stopping at his door, she reached out her hand.
"Wait...I...."
Rose looked at David, the door's handle in her palm. "What?" she turned and pushed the door in before the man could get anything out.
The room was nothing like she thought it'd be...It was...bright. Plenty of lamps along with light the walls seemed to give out like in her own room. She had always imagined it dark, sort of...shaded, a physical representation of the walled off portion of his mind. The bed sheets were navy blue. It was very sparse...that made sense at least. He never seemed to spend much time in here anyways unless he needed to be alone. And it was messy...that'd be him.
She bent to pick up a shirt off the floor...it was collared...the Doctor never wore collared shirts...ever...she hadn't been with him for long in the general scheme of things but it had been a few months by now and...he just didn't.

She was so happy, so carefree. Even seeing all the dangers they had been through together, she still knew how to laugh. He envied her for it. He wanted to be like her with a normal life and people to love. Rose Tyler had to be the oddest person on the planet. So mischievous and annoying, but lovely and kind all at once. She was just . . . fantastic.
But right now he hated her.
"Still muckin' about with your silly doctor friend?" he mimicked in a very exaggerated version of Jackie's voice. He thrust his hands into his pockets and kicked the concrete. "Silly am I? Take out an army of evil manikins, and I'm silly?" It was insulting, the way she treated him and blew him off like he was nothing. Just because Rose preferred traveling with him to moping around home with her. Rose could make her own choices, and honestly his 'silly' life was a bit more productive than Jackie's, he was bold enough to admit. "She's jealous, that's all. Can't handle the fact that her little girl's all grown and found someone to take care of her proper." he grinned to himself, looking up for the first time since they'd left the TARDIS, and stopping dead in his tracks.
He'd expected to see Rose ahead of him, maybe looking back over her shoulder to see if he was still following. But she was gone. In fact, everyone was gone. There were no people at all. There were cars stopped in the middle of the road, still chugging on gas, but totally unoccupied. A half eaten burger was left discarded on the sidewalk, steam still rising from the meat. Even the birds were gone. It was just him, and the wind and . . . "Oh no,"
His hands flew to his pocket, yanking out the key inside. He held it between his fingers, examining it with a mixture of horror and sadness. The metal was icy cold. It even looked dull and lifeless. The TARDIS was gone too.
Or was he the one that was gone?
"This is bad," he told the key in a matter-of-fact tone. "No, you know what? Its fantastic. Because for once, I'm the one that's lost. That's nice." he grinned, pocketing the key. Putting his hands behind his back, he lifted his head and shouted to the sky with all that he was worth.
"Right, I'm the Doctor, and I want to know what I'm here for. Hullo? I know there's someone there, and you've got some pretty fancy technology with you to move me around without my noticing. Come on then, don't be shy!" [/size]

Ten, embarrassed that his private space had been intruded upon, especially in its current messy state, could only stare at the mess of his room. Did he even have anything of Nine's in his room? He wasn't sure, although he knew that he did...just might not be clothing. He hoped he didn't have any dirty Nine clothing still in his room, at least. What concerned Ten more that moment was pictures. He was sure he had pictures with himself and Rose and other significant people in his life -- friends, family, and the like.
There was a reason he didn't let people into his room. However, if anyone was to see it, he would have wanted it to be Rose.
"Wow...this is a mess," Ten commented. "Maybe...maybe we better look for something clean in the wardrobe room....yeah...there HAS to be something of his there...."
He glanced at Rose, hoping that she would quickly leave the room. However, knowing her, he guessed that she would probably want to stay...especially because the Doctor, her Doctor, was gone.
It was then that he noticed what Rose had found. It was a shirt, but it was one that wouldn't fit Nine. He hoped that she wouldn't notice the size difference. ____________________ A human looking alien with big hands and feet stepped forward. "Our sensors indicated that you were a Time Lord....is that correct?"
The way the alien asked this question held hidden anger beneath the question, a smug smile playing on the creature's face.
(anyone can jump in here with ideas or bad guys or whatever....just trying to get something going with this)

WE ARE NOT SHY. WE ARE RIGHT HERE.
The voice - or, perhaps, voices - came from everywhere and nowhere.
YOU ARE NOT WHERE YOU THINK YOU ARE.
IF YOU AGREE TO HELP US, WE WILL HELP YOU.
YOU ARE IN MORTAL DANGER, TIME LORD.
"Well?" barked the humanoid.
"He's out again," remarked another.
The first speaker glowered. "Get me a stim. Let's wake him back up."
